Come thank and congratulate Jeff Howard on his contributions to Indiana Basketball.  He has definitely put in a ton of hard work and effort which has led to quite a bit of playing time for the Hoosiers this season.  Use this thread to share any stories/ moments/ pictures or videos of Jeff and thank him for his time at IU!

2013-2014 (Senior)

Made his first career start and played 15 minutes against Evansville, scoring two points and grabbing three rebounds ... posted two points and one 

rebound at Syracuse ... played three minutes against North Florida ... hauled in one rebounds in five minutes against Oakland ... scored one point and had one offensive 

rebound against Kennesaw State ... played two minutes at Illinois ... went 4-of-6 at the free throw line for his four points to go with three offensive rebounds at Penn 

State ... tallied one rebound in two minutes against Wisconsin ... had one rebound and one steal in 14 minutes against Northwestern ... scored both of his two points 

at the foul line to go with one recound and one assist against Michigan State ... had a huge tip-in during the second half for his two points against Illinois ... collected 

two points and four rebounds at Purdue.

 

 

2012-13 (Junior)
Received Academic All-Big Ten honors ... appeared in 13 games off the bench ... scored four points and grabbed nine rebounds on the year ... played four minutes in the exhibition game against Indiana Wesleyan ... contributed two rebounds in five minutes off the bench in the season opener against Bryant ... blocked a shot in five minutes of play against North Dakota State ... logged three minutes against Sam Houston State ... snatched a rebound in four minutes against Ball State ... hauled in one rebound and had a blocked shot against No. 14 North Carolina ... made a pair of layups in the closing minutes against Coppin State ... played one minute against Central Connecticut State ... blocked a shot and snared a rebound in seven minutes against Mount St. Mary's ... hauled in two rebounds in three minutes of action against Florida Atlantic ... played two minutes against Jacksonville and corralled a pair of rebounds ... had one assist in the win at Purdue ... played the final minute of the Hoosiers win against Purdue in Assembly Hall ... saw two minutes of time against James Madison in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in Dayton.

 

2011-12 (Sophomore)
Named Academic All-Big Ten... appeared in 10 games ... played two minutes against Stony Brook ... recorded a block and steal against Chattanooga ... played one minute at Evansville ... saw one minute of action against Gardner-Webb ... also played one minute in the Stetson game ... recorded an assist against Howard ... crashed the boards for two offensive rebounds against UMBC ... played a minute against Iowa and North Carolina Central ... played one minute at Minnesota.

 

2010-11 (Freshman)
Saw action in 10 games ... went 1-for-2 at the free throw line for his first collegiate points in the season opener against Florida Gulf Coast while also grabbing two rebounds ... entered the game against Mississippi Valley State ... snared two rebounds in six minutes of action against Evansville ... saw one minute of action against Northwestern State ... was 2-of-2 from the charity stripe and grabbed one rebound against Savannah State ... pulled down an offensive rebound in the first half against Iowa ... had one offensive rebound at Michigan.

 

PREP/PERSONAL
A 2010 graduate of Westfield High School, played basketball for head coach Eric Rauch ... Averaged 16.8 points, 12.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists ... Named Indy Star's All-North Player of the Year ... Led Westfield to a 13-9 overall record ... Upset Carmel in the Sectional semifinals, the team's first sectional win in five years ... Tied a school record with eight blocked shots ... Graduated in the top 10 of his high school class (over 400 students) ... Earned academic all-state honors with a 4.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale ... IBCA All-State Senior Honorable Mention ... Received All-County accolades from the Noblesville Times ... Listed by Hoosier Basketball Magazine as one of the top 60 senior basketball players in the state ... is majoring in business ... son of Randy and Valerie Howard ... born April 16, 1992.
