The Great Debate: Yogi vs Jordan

Recommended Posts

As much as the offense can keep us in the game, throughout the Big Ten schedule, if we are giving up too much on defense, one of them will have to come out if it is the guards who are letting too much by.

I'd have to agree with you Will.  You would like to hope the offense could out weight the defense shortcomings.  Unfortunately, teams like Michigan might make us reevaluate our lineups.

I am worried of having two 6ft guard in at the same time, don't get me wrong, but having a line up with them two and then either victor as the three or even hanner Cody and Christian in would seem to help balance things out. I think utilizing the 2-3 will help a lot as well. Lots of different styles they can run, I just hope they can perfect them so they aren't giving up a lot of points when they move between the styles.

It seems to be helping Indiana out right now.  Yogi and Jordan helped make that run.  Hope Crean plays them more down the stretch.

I don't mind having them in the lineup at the same time as long as it is working. As soon as the other team is taking advantage of it then you need to have only one on the court. The best part of having Yogi and Hulls on the court at the same time is when Yogi drives and dishes off to Hulls that is set and ready to shoot.
