ARTICLE:Oladipo Shines in Orlando

Recommended Posts

Former Indiana Hoosier Victor Oladipo has lived up to his #2 Draft pick during the first NBA Summer League Session.Oladipo has done it all for the Magic. Hoosiers fans already knew Oladipo had the tools to become an NBA All-Star, but few probably thought that might happen his first season. While Oladipo has dominated, it is important to note that normally only first and second year players, bench players, and guys coming off injury play in the Summer League games. If Oladipo can continue this dominance, it is going to be a very fun year in OrlanDIPO.

Personally,  I think it will be too difficult for Oladipo to be an All-Star this year.  Going forward, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him in multiple games.  He will be fun to watch in the Rookie-Sophomore game though.  Victor's future is VERY bright.  2013 Rookie of the Year bright!

Not many first year guys are all-stars but a lot of rookies turn into all-stars. We know he will put the work & time in the gym. I could see him being rookie of the year & that would be awesome, but being in Orlando with his work ethic and personality it will not be hard for Oladipo to shine.

I wish him the very best but he needs to vastly improve a few areas of his game. First of all his outside shooting. If they don't respect his jumper defenders will play 3 feet away from him. You don't blow by NBA players going to the hoop when they have the luxury of that big of a cushion. Secondly, his must be more careful with the ball. 3 steals a game is nice but useless if you have 5 turnovers.

He has the god-given talent and the work ethic to be awesome. I hope he becomes the great player he can be .
