Played a great game last night, never said he wasn't a good player. Dribbling the ball around and taking a shot with less than 5 seconds left on the shot clock ain't going to fly in the B10 during a 20 game conference slate.

I stand by what I said, nice player but nowhere near a star for a team expected to compete for a B10 championship.

I don't really have a dog in this fight but throughout is entire career as a head coach a McCollum offense averages 76 points a game. Basketball isn't my specialty but I'm certain one player dribbling the ball around taking a shot with less than 5 seconds is what his offense is doing. His offense is centered around the player you're dissing, that is true. I don't really want to break down his player position stats but I'm willing to bet that the point guard is the foundation and glue of that kind of production of having a career average of 76 points a game. I'm not looking forward to see what he does with players that has the skillset like Isiah Thomas.

I'm not "dissing" anybody, good Lord. He's good player more than capable of playing at the P5 level. But if your offense at a B10 school is tailored around Bennett Stirtz dribbling the ball out for 25 seconds and taking a shot....you aren't going to last long in this league.

I must have misunderstood. My apologies.

Well, if he can recruit players with skills like Zeke, then I imagine we should enjoy some great games with Iowa and IU…right?   :)

Oh man, I'm getting nightmares thinking about it.

To give Stirtz credit though he's a very willing and smart passer.  Sometimes talent jumps a level with other talent.  Get 5 guys on the floor doing their part and he can do the same.  Obviously think he'd do great at the right P5 team and he won't need to be the focal point as much.

Its messed up that the score bug on the top of the screen is ahead of the actual game when I change to it. Like 10 seconds ahead or so.

CBS is always way behind. Probably due to their fetish for commercial breaks.

Might be the opposite. On CBS, the score bug had Bama 68-65 with 5:08 left, I flip to TruTV and it was 66-65 with 5:18 left.

I was following a CBS game on ESPN gamecast yesterday and when a player was about to shoot a free throw, ESPN updated the score before the official even handed him the ball.
