Originally slated to be a weekend series there has been a schedule change.  All 3 games will be televised on B1G+.

The new schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, March 15 – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 16 – 4 p.m.
Friday, March 17 – 4 p.m.

Took 10 innings but we won the opener of the 3-game series with Morehead State 6-5.  Game was tied 3-3 after 7.  MS scored 2 in its 8th and we came back to score single runs in the 8th, 9th and 10th.  Wining run came on a bases loaded single by Tibbitts scoring Glasser.  We had a total of 14 hits but left 15 runners on base.  Taylor and Tibbits each with 3 hits; Glasser and Mathison each with 2.  Jessee went 1-4 and continued his on-base streak.   Whiteaker started and pitched 3 innings.  We used 4 additional pitchers and collectively the staff gave up 8 hits, 0 BB, 2 HBP and 9K.  Kraft got the win.

SCHEDULE UPDATE

Tomorrow's game has been moved to a 1:00 start as rain is predicted to move into the Bloomington area around 5:00.

Hoosiers led 9-4 after 3 but the rain has already moved into Bloomington so getting in a complete game may be problematic.  We scored 8 in the second but Morehead responded with 4 in the top of the 3rd.  Ellis has 2 hits and 3 RBI. Risedorph started and pitched 3 innings and relieved by Foley to start the 4th who has given up a run so the current score is 9-5.

Hoosiers have hit 5 HRs in the 4th inning and lead 16-5.

Maybe we should play more games in a light rain.  Hoosiers put a whuppin' on Morehead State winning 23-5.  We had a total of 20 hits.  Ellis 4-6 with 5 RBI; Pyne 3-4 with 4 RBI; Cerny 2-4 with 4 RBI.  In addition to our 5 HR, we hit 4 doubles and a triple.  Foley relieved Risedorph in the 4th and Seiler took over in the 6th and finished the game and did not allow a hit or BB.  Jessee sat out today's game.

Gotta love March baseball in Indiana.  The start of today's game had to be delayed.

Big Ten requires a wind chill of 28 to start and it was only 25 at 4 pm but warmed up to 28 to get the game underway.

After 4 1/2  Morehead holding a 2-1 lead.  Sinnard started and has held Morehead to 2 hits and struck out 12 but one of the hits was a 2-run HR in the 3rd.

Hoosiers led 4-2 into the 9th but Morehead tied it up.  In the bottom of the 9th, Whalen hit a game winning single.  Cerny 3-5 and scored the winning run on Whalen's single.  Whalen with 2 RBI in the game.  We had 9 hits and were aided by 9 Morehead BB.  Sinnard pitched 6 complete only allowing 2 hits, 1BB and had 13 strikeouts.  Kraft and Manase finished up mound duties and we sweep the series.  Next up is a Tuesday night home game with Indiana State and next weekend we open B1G play at home vs O$U.
