lol. I get it. It’s frustrating to lose to Purdue and to not even have a shot at the game since the opening tip bc the refs biased officiating. as physical as this game is, I think he gets abused and has a fouls within 30 seconds of entering the game.

I think he hit the freshman wall and his minutes dropped bc his output dropped.

I’m optimistic we will get some players. Will it be built to win at a high enough level is the question. Looking forward to portal season though.

I think that’s what everyone is planning. Dorn and Miles can be bench players. Like players 8 and 9 off the bench. Don’t need to get rid if them and then overpay for more players.

Purdue is a legit sweet 16/elite 8 caliber team. They are better than above average. Not national title elite, but in the group below that.

Miles seems to have shown he can be a bench player for us next year imo. Athletic and seems to play with some energy. Not the most skilled but as a bench player he will do for next year.

This is true. They are reaching, grabbing, holding on defense everytime we trying to get into our offense.

Bright spot is it will get Conerway some minutes to get back into the flow for the stretch run on the season.

We look like a bunch of guys who weren’t expecting what they are getting in Mackey in a rivalry game. We aren’t matching the physicality, specifically Wilkerson. And the refs are terrible.

I think he is ambitious and will definitely go. Especially if they win it all this year.

I have no issue with Dusty not being here. I don’t believe he will be at Michigan long either. They have a thread on their largest community, MGoBlog, talking about Dusty going to the NBA. Evidently a NBA GM is stating Dusty is the top college coaching candidate this coming cycle. He won’t be in Ann Arbor long.

I think this week has been a good indication of what a roster needs to look like to be a final four contender. We got to see Illinois up close and then Michigan is just a class above everyone else in the conference. I think both are threats to win it all. Michigan vs Duke is going to be must watch tv. Both Michigan and Illinois have size, skill, and don’t lack athleticism. And it’s across the board in their starting lineup. You can have a skilled roster with size, like Purdue, and be a second weekend caliber team but have a ceiling.

Anything less than a final four is a bust for Michigan. I assume they are the favorites to win it all.

It will be interesting to see if they take the next step and contribute next year or if they transfer out. I’d assume our center is red shirting and developing. But who knows.

I’m not even upset about this loss. Not because I’m apathetic, I just thought it was a terrible matchup with a final four caliber team coming off a loss. Next up Purdue. Go get a win.
