The Celtics have been very good to Brad. They made him their head coach after 6 years of mid-major college experience. Then after a Woodyesque 7 years as a professional coach, moved him to the front office and now pay him 11+mill a year to build championship rosters. Which he has done. That's why it has been ludicrous to think he would go back to coach college for anyone.
Frans gone so if you add Iowa holdovers to eligible Drake players you have a team that can compete. He gets to stay home. It will be cool to see how he does there.
Dolson needs to shock the sh7t out of us with a huge name or sack up and go the Beard/Wade route. If "Fire Woodson" chants were off-putting to him, the chants he hears after a Brownellesque hiring will be horrific.
He extended at FAU and then went to Michigan. If he wanted the IU job and Dolson wanted him, a 7.5 million dollar buyout wouldn't stop it from happening. I don't think the Dusty fans should fold their tent yet.
I'll be ok at first. Then the off-season starts. I hope it's someone that at least a segment of the fanbase is jacked about. If it's a universally piss warm response,,,,, we probably didn't do well.
I don't care what happened between Chris Beard and Randi Trew 3 years ago. It's obvious she got roughed up.
An elite 8, an NCAA ru, and two conference titles in his first 4 years. That's more than enough to get an interview.
He's a calculated guy. He had a lot of offeres to move up. He was hot after the 38-0 D2 champion and stayed. Again, jmo, but I think he'll build Drake in his own image and move to a spot of his choice with several of his own players. He doesn't seem to be in hurry to rush things.
