Any interesting comparison was just made. It might be an insight into the roster construction DD has in mind. Reed Bailey = Alex Condon.

My favorite pg in the 2024 recruiting class Rob Wright lll entered the portal. He orchestrated the offense for that great Montverde team, and played very well for Baylor down the stretch. I also saw where Thad landed Michael Ajayi.

If i may add my spin? The mismatch game is predicated from those designations when determining game plans. Bailey for instance is historically horrific defensively against other C(5) but he accounted for 24+ppg out of the spot and probably consistently had the opposing 5 in foul trouble.

This would be my choice over Pack. -
I looked up this portal class and one service had them 6th and the other 8th. Louisville was outside of the top 10. Goes to show you what they knew. If TD doesn't go down it's a 22-23 win team. I think he'll be better this time around. Baileys skillet is completely different than any of the bigs on that roster, he's planning to play a little differently perhaps.

I think he should play a lot of PG for us this year. We're going to run a lot of stuff through Bailey.

Preston Murphy was hit with a 2 year show cause after getting caught up in the fbi thing a few years ago?

Do we think there was a tough sell to administration considering his background.

This is my hidden gem of the portal for this year: Alex Chaiken-freshman 49.8/47.9/84 0. 13ppg in 26mpg https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/player/stats/_/id/5243038/alex-chaikin

There are worse things than having TD dictate his dad's offense, running a lot of things through Bailey. The pg market looks to be lean moving forward.

If we think in terms of Kentucky, who was in contact with Bailey, we can probably expect an Andrew Carr type of impact. He wasn't much on the defensive end either. Unfortunately there isn't an Amari Williams currently in the portal. Traore is from Xavier though. Alot left to shake out. There are plenty of Kenbard Davis and Wilkerson types of combo guards out there. -

The PG might be a tough portal group to find a P4 starter in. He's putting alot of work into the Xavier de-commit Nyk Lewis right now. I think by getting Bailey you start to see a few things. He's smart and gets to the line alot, processes quickly and can play offense at a high level. His opponents shot 60% on him in the paint though which probably means he's a top of the key halfcourt facilitator, a point-4 and we're in the market still for rim protection. -
Myles Rice to Maryland.

It looks like DD is trying to add to the incoming HS class.

His time here did a lot to make him the coach he is now. I met him when he was here and immediately liked him. Had a chance to talk to him multiple times. He's a better coach now than he was then. His time under Scott Skikes was huge. He's better now in specific situations, creating mismatches to exploit. His teams have always been tough though. If they win it all I won't be surprised if he retires. He has some medical issues you mightve picked up on. -

Tugler could've fell apart after that T he got defending the inbound. He didn't and his fingerprints were all over the last 2 minutes. What a tough group of guys, tough culture. -

My bracket was more hope than logic with Houston v St. John's. I would favor Florida but my hearts with Houston. Has been all year. -

I couldn't be happier for Coach Sampson. An incredible redemption story in the makings. I said it all year, whomever the coach for us may be. Give me a Houston identity we'll be good. -

The margin for error is too much for Houston. -

The positional size is what will probably hang Duke another banner. The effort necessary for at Sampson constructed team vs Duke may be impossible. Definitely can't be relying on deep in the clock 25ftrs. -

Let's go Houston! Can they out work the positional size of Duke? -
Let's go Coach Sampson.

Maybe the best way to look at things is we're an expansion franchise starting from scratch in 2025-26. -

Bailey was The Guy for a well coached team. I thought he was alot like Tyler Wahl of Wisconsin when I watched him. Right now it seems like DD is trying to get a 3 player high school class. Retention and development are big. Last night I looked into how many 6'5"-6'8" wings that can shoot, defend and rebound. Many, many, many that won't break the bank and can give us a deep bench and several with more than 1 year of eligibility. We might not be great , but we'll complete.
