I would sit down with the President and Buckner and try to get them tibtalk to Woodson. Try to get him to retire and move on. Also if we decide to keep him Woodson has to make a lot if changes. He needs to bring in a couple of new assistants and one who is a former college HC. He needs to change his offensive philosophy where he uses the 3 more.

How did he get rid of Matta. He took a HC job at Butler

That isn't even close to being true. Smith is on of the top of in the country. I hate Purdue more than anyone but I can be objective about their team.

Just asking the younger fans who say us older fans are part of the problem. How and when did you become fans of IU. Did you grow up in an IU household and grew up on IU basketball. If you did then what generation got you into IU basketball in the first place, the older generation. If you guys only became fans once you got to IU and never watched IU before that. If that the case I don't care what you think what or how IU basketball should be run. I couldn't care less what you think about IU basketball. I don't like DD or agree with much but I do agree that his opinion that the University is worrying to much about having out of state students. I think that has totally changed the fan base and it has caused a lot of division in the fans.

So as a fan what have you done to try to get changes made. I have at least emailed the AD with my displeasure of the coaching instead of just bitching about it on a message board

Also I am one who would like to see a change from Woodson but the fans are part of the perception of this program

I have been a live for 3 championships and 6 final fours so I am not accepting mediocrity.

Just saying people wonder why we don't get the top coaches when we have openings. Some of it is do to tbe perception of this fan base being impatient and that IU goes through coaches at a high rate

Perception becomes reality. Also other coaches look at it that way as well. Maybe we need to look in the mirror and realize coaches don't view this as a desirable job. Why leave a winning situation and your job security to come here and be under pressure in year two

A lot of national media don't agree with you. Also fans haven't been patient because they start calling for the coaches head by year two.

That was a horrible call

If I am his parent I would want to do what is best for his future. If that is turning pro fine but I don't see him getting drafted. I wouldn't want him to go the G league route because that is a hard journey. I think it would be best for him to come back and work on his game to improve his draft stock

Maybe I should have worded it differently. I just meant that the majority of the fans wouldn't stoop that low to text his daughter. Those few who do makes our fan base looks bad

That is the problem with our fan base even if it is the minority of the fans but they make us look bad.
