I am off today, had a yearly check up today. So what does a long time frustrated IU fan do, watch old games on YouTube. Watching the 93 sweet 16 game vs UL. Boy is the game so different and don't even look like the same game as today. So much more movement and passing and less standing and dribbling. A lot more scoring as well, right now it is IU up 35-29 with 7 minutes to go in the first half.

It is nice seeing teams actually cut with purpose and move away from the ball. Also it is fun watching teams actually hit shots like Creighton tonight

Only thing that gives me any hope about this spring is that Woodson has gotten most of his best players in the spring. Reneau, Ware, MM and Bates which at the time looked like a good get.

He chose IU after my predictions so it is still a win even if he decommits

I want Woodson gone but for the people who don't know why he wouldn't just move on it how he is stealing money. My question would you quit your job making huge money even if your bosses had no plans to fire you.

I see you came over from HSN. Cig has the enthusiasm and passion of a young man but Woodson has an enthusiasm of a corpse. It isn't the age but his production on the court and his lack of emotion.

If I were in Dolson shoes and I didn't have any say on who the coach is next year I would quit and move on.

I love how UCONN runs their offense. Even when doing ball screens the other 3 players don't just stand around. The off ball guys screen for shooters while the big man slips to the basket.

I agree but there if that doesn't happen other changes needs to be made.

Really no traveling in recruiting the portal because it has a mainly through zoom and players might visit. Actt it seems like the short recruiting process is where Woodson actually has done well.

Just saying If I were the AD and I would tell him if he wants to stay these changes needs to be made, if not you can hit the road You have seen this in the NFL a lot where the front office tells the HC for him to keep his job you have to make changes to the staff. The Colts did this to Jim Mora and told him he had to die the DC Vic Fangio but refused. Later Mora was fired

If Woodson is coming back there has to be some stipulations on some changes that needs to be made. 1) We need to upgrade or start a front office type staff for recruiting and the portal. 2) Make a change in the coaching staff, fire Hunter. Ya and the other coach have been the better recruiters. Need to bring in an assistant with former college HC experience. Need a player developer and a good teacher of the game. 3) Fire Cliff Marshall. I am tired of seeing before and after pictures of the players. He has been here 7 years and the shooting has been horrible including free throw shooting. We also have a lot of injuries during this time as well. Not blaming him solely but it is time for a change and try something different. 4) Change the type of players you are recruiting and look at players who actually know how to play the game. Just don't recruit for athletic traits and star ratings. 5) Get a more modern approach to the game on the offensive side of court. Recruit shooters and actually get them good looks and stop putting them in the corners.

You mean the Leal who has went scoreless in two of his last 3 games. He had two really good games but passion alone doesn't make an impact player
