I think most top prospects have personal coaches but that is for the off season. Maybe he came up to see MM and they went to Cook Hall to workout. I Also remember Tom Brady having his personal trainer at the team facility all the time. I think the team finally put a stop to that

Why do people care so much about such trivial stuff like what shoe company IU uses. This discussion is mind numbing and cluttering this board

During the pre season press conferences both Ware and MM said the plan is to he here one year. Mainly brought this up because that Queen is looking at you stays or goes before he makes his decision -

https://www.insidethehall.com/2024/01/25/what-theyre-saying-a-look-at-the-current-nba-draft-stock-of-kelel-ware/ After reading this I would say it is a great chance Ware will be gone -
Well in the last 4 years I had a lot of down time. I had Covid 3 times and lost my job during the pandemic so I had to find something to occupy my time

At Montverde he plays the 2 -
I hate this is what basketball has come to. I think it just takes to much of the game away. If I thought was making the game better I would be all for it. If it is the best way to score why is scoring down compared to what it use to be. I have watched a lot of old IU games from the 80's and 90's and we averaged over 80 points and probably hit 7-8 3's a game while shooting over 40%. To me if you run a great offense and actually worked on your shooting from every where you can still score at a high rate.

I thought someone posted that Davis has a little bit of a bad attitude on the court

I actually think it is time to build a new arena. Not for recruiting or being cool but for the fan experience. We need to have an arena that really has no bad seats and have great sight lines. We need to build a more modern Hinkle Fieldhouse or Gainbridge Fieldhouse. We also need to have a real student section like a lot of other teams have. I would put the students in the lower section on both end of the floor.
-
You must have never seen college games from the 80's and 90's because it wasn't anything like Archie's style. That era was the best I have seen in college basketball and it isn't close.

I know was just trying to be funny but obviously it didn't come off that way
-
At the time of Archie's hire all the experts said he was the top candidate out there He just didn't work out
-
It would be just weird for Northwestern to chant Rock Chalk Jay Hawk since they are the Wildcats

Why do you bother with IU basketball if it makes you so miserable. It is just a sport so there is no need to get so upset about something trivial.

Nobody cares what the uniforms looks like or the court. As long as they don't go like Oregon's horrible uniforms or court
-
Yes, we do need a really good point guard
-
Not really because I have been saying for years that AH needed to go. I don't care if we switched sho companies. I was also in the minority in the late 90's saying it was time to move on from RMK. I just have way more respect for fans who grew up watching IU sports and it has been their over some people from New York who didn't even know about IU basketball
-
Without us older fans how would the younger fans ever got into IU basketball and their history. I would think most of the younger crowd became fans of IU because their fathers or grandfathers brought them up in an IU home. I know more and more our students are coming from farther away and probably didn't even know about IU basketball before they attended IU. To those fans how dare you blame us older fans who has stuck with the program through thick and thin.

Hurley came from a mid major Arizona's coach came from Gonzaga as an assistant coach Painter from S. Illinois Duke and UNC hired assistants with no HC experience Syracuse hired an assistant with no HC experience Villanova hired a former assistant with 1 year experience of HC All of these happened less than 50 years ago
-
Like I showed earlier most hires go from mid major to a power 5 conference. There are very few who go power 5 to another power 5 team. Most of the all time coaches went from Mid major to their power conference job. With your criteria IU shouldn't have even looked at RMK
-
Dusty May has a much better chance of being a CAM than a RMK. I think things like this is part of our problem. If everyone is waiting for the next RMK then you will be waiting forever. There are not many coaches who has ever been as good as RMK so in all likelihood we won't ever have that. Not saying we won't ever compete again but you can win without having the next RMK
