What a great game. Couldn't go to sleep afterwards. Best part of the game for me: 2-year-old son: Da da is that Indiana? "Yes, that's INDIANA." 2-year-old: Indiana playing basketball? "YES INDIANA BASKETBALL" 2-year-old: GO INDIANA (claps) It was late, he put his book down to cheer for IU and fell asleep watching with me. IU Basketball is generational - did the same thing with my father growing up and still text with him and my brothers about IU almost every day. Priceless memories

Hate to be negative because there are a lot of positives but Sparks got ate up by Tschetter that segment bad

Not sure about injury status, but I work at his former school and have several basketball players in my classes + have formed a decent relationship with the women’s basketball staff - by all accounts everyone says he can play at a P5 level. I originally took it with a grain of salt, but seemingly everyone involved in his center of gravity at the academy believes he can produce at a P5. edit: nobody at the academy would say negative things about him or present limitations even if they were apparent. Nature of the place - don’t eat your own.

I haven't watched Illinois yet this year. Are they a true top 15 team? Pre-season the word was lack of a point guard - how have they overcame this, Shannon?

Hold McDaniel tight and the Hoosiers should come away 7-1 Playing Michigan has led to some of my favorite memories as a Hoosier fan: 2023 last B1G regular season game OT win. 2022 B1G Tourney. One of the few games I got to attend live. 2H was so much fun and a priceless memory with my father. 2015-2016 @ Michigan IU was down early and held Michigan scoreless the last 10 minutes of the 1H. Yogi was dominant.

Thinking a year ahead about recruiting. If Mgbako, Reneau both come back + Mcneeley I can’t see a world where Banks doesn’t hit the portal. I hope it doesn’t happen, he will be a top level player as an upperclassmen. Only hope is trusting Coach Woodson’s words, “get old and stay old”

Agree with that - really think getting a guy over 6’11 will be first priority in portal. Reneau, Mgbako, and even Queen if he commits, IU will still need a big-big.
