Harvard won at Colgate today, they are 4-1 ranked 139 in kenpom. Pumped for this one, going to Colts game at 1 and then heading straight to Gainbridge for the Hoosiers.

Just feels like we are in one of this situations where there is such an easy solution and yet we are on pins and needles to see if they figure it out. We don't even have to be good, we just need to show we care a little bit about football in order to not get left behind and yet it is a real question whether or not we will do that lol.

While he is in his second year, this is basically his first season of actually playing in games. The shooting still needs to come but I am impressed with his defense and not letting the offense get him down on that end of the floor.

This is the most exciting part for me. I think from game 1 to now there has already been significant growth from CJ and Kaleb and while Ware isn't there yet, he has looked much better than I was expecting.

I agree it seems like they show improvement in different areas each game, problem has been when one improves they have slipped a bit in other areas. Once they start to put the pieces together I think they will be much better.

Biggest key early this year is going to be taking care of the buy games and winning the home conference games. By the time we get to January put yourself in a position to string together some wins and compete towards the top of the league.

We might just have to Iowa football this thing and win ugly for a bit until we can get some things figured out. Beat Harvard and Maryland and then go find at least one win in the at Michigan, Auburn (N), Kansas stretch.

Banks was absolutely awesome today. Reminded me of the very early stages of OG with his defense and nose for the ball. Keep growing and keep winning. Let’s hope the big ten has a good feast week! (Besides Purdue)

Yeah that has a lot to do with him being mentally sped up. If he calms down and gets more comfortable you will see him start to shoot more on balance and hopefully hit.

Looked on Thursday like he was more engaged when he was getting shots. However at this point I don't care what the numbers say his defense has been pathetic. Part of that is playing out of position I really think we need to move him to the backup 4.

His offensive issues are clearly mental not to do with talent. I hope that getting more minutes gets him comfortable and he can start to knock some more down.

I havent read the thread for my own sanity. Today sucked. However I trust Woody to get this team playing its best basketball, it’s game 4. I do think Mgbako needs to be coming off the bench. I think at this point he’s been given his fair shake at the 3 and it ain’t happening. We stayed attached until the under 8 with basically no X, there is reason for optimism. Ive been on Woodys hard for two years and he’s proved Time and time again he’s going to get the squad going, let’s enjoy the ride. Also while the box score may not show it, thought CJ played well today!

Enough with the gloom and doom! I would rather have a challenge against a top 5 team tomorrow than another buy game. Let's appreciate it and root the boys on, we only get 31 regular season games a year!

I don’t have any data to back this up but it does feel like way more of these upsets are happening than usual. We’re well into the double figures and that’s excluding Louisville and Depauls losses because they’re so pathetic it’s not fair to count any of their games as easy wins.

Another night more teams losing but games. Two ranked teams (USC and Arkansas) have lost buy games this week.

My least favorite thing that announcers do is their inability to hold back from saying "is this (insert month) or is this March??" when a game is entertaining. Newsflash there are good games all year lol.
