  1. Where did you hike? That definitely doesn’t look like Indiana. It looks out in the Southwest area. My wife and I have hike a lot in that area. I hope you had fun!
  2. My theory is we my be putting on too much muscle. I read that being more muscular can alleviate your mobility and hand eye coordination. I could be wrong but that before and after pick of Race was sick! And then it could be lack of focus/concentration and mental toughness. Alford was one of the best free throw shooters in IU history and he always had the same routine in practice and in games when shooting free throws, plus he would always shoot 100 after practice and his goal was 90% and if he didn’t reach that, he would shoot more. How you practice is how you should shoot them in a game
  3. My god, these refs are horrible! Our free throw shooting is horrible too! CMW say they work on it in practice everyday, my guess is they just go through the motions of attempting to practice them to please CMW but they aren’t taking it seriously, IMO. GO HOOSIERS!!!
  4. My bad for starting the other thread, I couldn’t find this one!
  5. My bad for starting the other thread, I couldn’t find this one!
  6. Is there a way to edit the Topic? Messed up the date. Hard to do it on my phone, lol!
  7. I hope I done this in the right forum, this is the first time I started a thread. I kept waiting for someone else start one, but I never seen one. I predict the starting lineup to be: TJD, Race, Kopp, Leal and Galloway GO HOOSIERS!!!!
  8. But it doesn’t mean you can’t start Geronimo in place of Kopp
  9. He does dunk enthusiastically!!! Maybe this topic should be what else can’t he do? Don’t get me wrong, I really like TJD. Committed to IU because he wanted to come here, could have went to many other schools. Does play hard, hasn’t been a trouble maker, been a mainstay in the starting lineup, etc…. I just wished he had developed an outside shot and hit his free throws more consistently
  10. I have faith he’ll do it eventually but I think it will be year 3 or 4 at the next level
  11. 100% agree! The ball moves so much more when he is in the game.
  12. Sorry, I didn’t proof read, once I read that again I noticed I contradicted myself. I am saying they won’t start!
  13. He was supposed to do that in the off season. If he hasn’t developed it by now, it isn’t happening. I actually think this offense will be more fluid with a lot more motion without TJD.
  14. Mark it down, we won’t have the same starting lineup as we have had this entire year, minus a couple games. IMO, he’ll use the same lineup to start the game that he did against NW, but if isn’t that lineup, Trey will be starting.
  15. No, they won’t start. That is my opinion only based what I read in that article. Yes I am reading my on conclusions. I think the exact same 5 will start who started against NW with JG first off the bench. The others will play, but only limited minutes. That’s what I am going with.
  16. By his comments, and yes I reading a lot into it, but I don’t think X and Stew won’t start, and he’ll determine how much, if any playing time they’ll get. https://www.insidethehall.com/2022/02/10/indianas-five-suspended-players-will-return-for-saturdays-game-at-michigan-state/
  17. I agree but we haven’t and I think that is primarily CMW structuring the offense too much around Trayce and, like I mentioned above, his offensive limitations. I think CMW feels that Trayce is his horse and he’s going to keep riding that horse. That part is where CMW can stop doing and start getting guys to move. For some reason our offense seemed to play better when Trayce was saddled in foul trouble. Hmmmm, I wonder why.
  18. Hoosier Aloha was almost spot on with his comments above and yours follow up comments were accurate as well. I would love to see a more motion type offense and I actually thought that is the type of O we would be playing. I also would like to see less focus on forcing the ball into Trayce and get offense moving. It wasn’t an accident that this team played well when TJD was on the bench in foul trouble in the Purdue and 1st half of the Illinois game because there was more moving and less standing around waiting for Trayce to make a move or decision. I think we will be limited because of TJD’s game is all inside and hasn’t really showed any signs of being able to step out and make mid range shots. Because of those limitations we are very limited offensively. I think we’ll see more movement offensively in year 2.
  19. Those are my correct expectations too and I think he will get to that level.
  20. That is something CMW is trying to build and get back. I didn’t say All Big Ten, I said a step forward. He’ll average double figures and will increase his other stats.
  21. Bates will take a big step forward next year! Davis for Wisconsin didn’t have the greatest freshman numbers either and look where he is now. Not saying Bates will put Davis like numbers, but I think he greatly improve next year.
  22. Sounds like it is more of a roster construction issue. I know CMW put this roster together but most of the players were already here and they had to try to fill gaps with the slim Pickens left from the transfer portal and he lucked out landing Bates. I think we need to give him at least 3 years to assess his players skill set. You definitely don’t like CMW or you must have thought this team should be further along than what they are even though they haven’t been in CMW’s for a whole year
  23. I’m sure who he thought was the leader, they maybe held accountable too! I take it you aren’t a Mike Woodson fan!
