Is e elasticity? Elongated? Eventually? Evolution? Hmmmmm, I wonder what e means. We get it, you think this team lacks effort. To be honest, it takes more effort to play D than O. I think this team lacks offensive skills from about every player and CMW has said the D is ahead of the O. I think our D has been decent, I think he should install some more or better offensive plays that requires more motion and less standing around. Just my opinion.

IMO, the 5 suspended players let the coaching staff, teammates and university down. The 3 upperclassman should know better and weren’t displaying good leadership, I think they should be given their walking papers and put their names back in the transfer portal. I know many on here won’t agree with that, but they didn’t set an example and probably should be made an example of. It probably won’t happen but they totally let everyone down, including the fans!

What I am concerned with the most is the trend or repeat pattern that appears to be starting at about the same time as last year when the wheels fell off. TJD not finishing, disciplinary issues, losing to teams we should beat, not hitting free throws, not making open 3’s just to name a few of the same or similar stuff as last year. TJD looks like he gets bumped a little and then just throws it up and hopes it goes in. If he isn’t scoring, this teams chances for winning greatly decreases, especially when you have 5 scholarship players suspended.

I think you said it well! It wasn’t that important to those 5 guys and now we are riding a losing streak with a tough stretch just ahead. The focus should have been on the prize of getting into the tournament. Whatever they did could have waited until after the season. The older players should have known better. That’s not good leadership. I heard their suspensions could be longer. By the way, what did they do? A rumor has it they snuck out the night before! I haven’t heard anything else.

His 22% is the entire season but he has shot it better lately but I think he’s getting better. We can agree to disagree! -

Your last statement is correct; however, I think Race is more than 1 dimensional offensively and I believe he is just scratching the surface offensively. He good at the basketball, has hit some mid-range shots and has finally started to hit 3 pointers, although he didn’t last game but even the best shooters may come up empty on occasion. Also, he handles the ball decent, especially when he gets a rebound on the defensive end and starts a fast break on many occasions. TJD is more 1 dimensional but Race is not, IMO. -

Most of us on here agree with you! The 2nd half adjustments should have been a version of what you described, instead it seemed as though they try to stick with their original game plan to force the ball into TJD and try to get Dickburn into foul trouble. All Dickburn has to do to defend TJD is pretty much stand there with his arms stretched high and Trayce just bounces off of him like a ball in a pinball machine. He probably outweighs Trayce by 40 lbs and he looks stronger. We played right into their hands, hook, line and sinker! -

I’m a Mike Woodson fan but that’s on him! The offense is basically the same as Miller’s, throw it in to Trayce or Race and everyone else stands around waiting for them to do something with the ball. I honestly thought our offense would be more motion offense based, like Knight had and like Turdue plays. You always see Turdue’d players moving. I know he has said the D is way ahead of the O, but I thought by now it would be getting much closer. The only players showing real improvement offensively is X, Race, and Galloway. -

I thought he did that this past summer. If he didn’t do that, then what the heck did he work on. It’s obvious whatever he worked on didn’t help him against Dickburn! It looked like he faired worse against him. -

It’s puzzling if his coach is giving him the green light and he doesn’t at least attempt one. No confidence is obvious but he can’t get confidence if he attempts 0. It hasn’t stopped Race from trying. -

He needs to take what the D gives him and if he hits his first or 2nd shot, it would have forced Dickburn to play him a little more honestly. The fact that he didn’t attempt at least one is puzzling! If your coach is not telling you to not shoot, take the open 12-15 footer. You never no, but it could open up his and everyone else’s game!!! Take the freaking shot Trayce! -

It did seem as if Kofi camped out in the lane and I counted at 4 or 5 traveling violations that weren’t called. It maybe perfectly legal move, but it just seemed some of those step backs looked weird. One seemed like his step back covered over 3 feet. James Harden gets by with that, but now it has seemed to infiltrated into the college game!
