Unless there is a monetary prize for best prediction, I'll roll with this
1) IU (20-0)
2) Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin all at (10-10)
14) Purdue (0-20)

Newman has been really bad in two years at Purdue. Not a good defender. A shooter that doesn’t make shots.
Morton has never played the point in two years. Good assist to TO, but 2.7 ppg in 14.8 mpg last year. Remember when we were forced to try RoJo at the point? It’s about like that.
Ramey would help a ton, but Duke and Arizona are after him.
Purdue is set to be the slowest team in America.

Guard play is the key element lacking for the Boilers. It was this past season and is amplified even more now.
If Morton is your lead guard, you’ve got big issues. And he’s the closest thing Purdue has to a competent PG. Everyone else (Ivey, Hunter, Thompson) from last year has either gone pro or transferred. Morton’s not a BAD player, but he more of a complimentary guy.
Asking him to be you main PG option is equivalent to expecting Trey Galloway be our top PG.

Tasmanian Devil reacted to Southside in Early 2022-2023 Top 25
Well, I think our G spot has been incredibly neglected for years.
I have to believe that two 5 star young studs can help hit those erogenous zones more than last season, or the Archie years.
On the other pleasure zones, not sure, but I do expect a decent step forward from Geronimo. Things seemed to start clicking more him last season. He'll certainly be asked to do more this year IMO. His shooting % (3rd highest on the team), rebounding (3rd highest) and energy were all apparent despite being only 9th in minutes. If he polishes up and emerges, things could be very good for us.
Also hoping for continued development for Galloway (love his energy) and Leal. I'm cautious on my outlook for Leal, but hope he can become a reliable shooter coming off the bench.

Tasmanian Devil got a reaction from DWB in TJD is BACK
That’s one way to look at it.
Then, again, it can be looked at as Trayce demonstrating strong leadership. He’s making it CRYSTAL CLEAR that he wants everyone focused - you’re either in on the things TRULY important that are going to help you win, and if you’re not mature enough to understand that you need to be gone. Period.
Just as long as he’s walking the walk, he can talk the talk all he wants in my opinion. That statement was for his CURRENT team going forward, not guys no longer there. And if those departed have issue with what was said, too bad - it’s likely why you’re no longer in Bloomington.

Here’s a great article by Tom Brew from SI on this subject:

I guess I'm taking the flip side of that record. I'm glad he said no more strikes, or whatever it was. You F-up and you're sitting/gone. Now, maybe he did go into a little more detail than he should have, but then again....maybe not. I"m pretty tired of everybody walking egg shells in order to keep from hurting the snowflakes feelings. It's about time that guys that mess up get called out for it...publicly. (IMO)
Now the whole Hoosier Nation knows he's out to win it. And it's either get on my train, or move the hell out of the way. And with all of the depth on the bench, as many have said, there may be no let down when subs come in.
I thought his tone (more so than his words) said volumes about his intent and goals this year.

I would guess he’s probably echoing what Woodson has said about suspensions.
