I have plenty of IU apparel and think they are very nice. I have two shirts that probably is that 1/4 zip the kid was talking about and they are really nice.

Just wait until us old fans are gone or leave due to the product we see. After us who have been fans all of our lives you will see a decline in interest in IU. It seems today the attention span is less than it use to and more things to do it will hurt IU. Also if your team don't win right away today's fans turn their back and find something else to do.

And what our uniforms look like doesn't have anything to do with getting top recruits. If it does then that tells me a lot about the mentality of today's players. If they care more about how they look than how they play then that might be a reason why college basketball is in decline.

Thinking about this question more I look at the big ten and don't see any elite programs right now. I think the first thing that needs to happen to get back to being elite is for the big ten to change their style of play. I feel the big ten and IU for that matter can't get enough elite talent to be elite because those players don't want to pay in the big ten.

Not one time in my life I ever worried or thought about what a teams uniforms looked like. I worry about the product on the court or fis and not worry about frivolous things.

I just think some of these young guys think sports didn't start until they started watching and have no clue about the history of the game. They think they invented the game and think all changes are good for the sports. In basketball the changes in style and the overuse of analytics is killing the game of basketball. Then we have this guy who actually thinks your uniforms make a difference in you being elite or not.

I don't care how old I am which is 52 and you can never convince me that what uniforms you wear makes an ounce if difference. If a kid chooses a school for their uniforms then those type of kids I don't want near my team. I am sorry to say this but I think you are pretty much cluess when it comes to what makes a great team or program.

I have been watching sports for over 50 years and I see the top football programs still wearing the same uniforms. Alabama, PSU, Georgia, USC, ND,OSU, Clemson, LSU. A couple of them might have an alternative but they pretty much had the same uniforms. Yes most definitely that uniforms doesn't matter

It wasn't a coach K book but about the ACC and it's history. Saw it on TV as well. Never said the AD wanted to fire him but the fans. Why I always bring this up to our fans wanting our coach fired after a year or two.

Guys like Ewing, Robinson, Sampson, Duncan just to name a few who stayed 4 years. That is the main reason for me that the college game is not as good today.
