  1. Arizona was nothing until Lute Olson got there in the early 80's and have been pretty good since then.
  2. That isn't true, just look at Wright's first 6-7 years and you don't see elite.
  3. Woodson many times said he wants TJD to shoot the ball from outside. Been shown many times in the summer TJD working on his outside shot but he is hesitant to shoot it in the game.
  4. He wouldn't either because he can't shoot putsidenof 3 feet. He had the big numbers but he isn't close to he ad good as a Allan Henderson. Henderson could hit the 3 and was deadly from 15 feet.
  5. His team did just lose to Seton Hall at home 45-43. I think he is a better coach at the level he is because I don't think his style is suited to recruit elite talent.
  6. These players have it easy compared to the past. You have rules today where you're u can't practice more than 20 hours a week and have to have a day off. In RMK day he would have this team practicing tonight after they get back home. No wonder wer have trouble If the kids today are so soft and that they can't handle a hard practice
  7. Most probably thought at this point of the season we would be 9-2 so we might be a little behind but not much. I don't like how we played against Rutgers and KU but it is not the end of the world. As for being elite we need to get better on the wing. We need more athletic guys around 6'6 or 6'7 to play on the wing. To me you don't need to have your best Ayers being interior players. You need your big guys to do the dirty work and do all the small things that leads to winning. We also need to recruit guys that aus with an attitude and have a little nasty streak in them.
  8. It wasn't phone calls that Sampson shouldn't be our coach but the type of kids he brought in
  9. Probably better chance IU wins than the Colts or at least keeps it close.
  10. They should so set up a draft for high school players instead of recruiting them.
  11. Because we were only scheduled to play Purdue once during the conference season.
  12. So you rather see the Cts getting blown out over watching IU getting blown out.
  13. Can't remember who we were playing last year but it was at the same time as the Colts game against Jacksonville. I still watched the IU game even though the Colts we're playing for a playoff spot
  14. If these players want to be treated like a pro and have free agency, then they should implement trades as well.
  15. Sounds like IU and MSU might be his top teams
  16. Will be watching IU and during timeouts will flip it over to the Colts game after it starts
  17. Most coaches base playing time on how well the players practice. None of us sees the practices so I will take tne coaches judgement on playing time.
  18. Thank God he isn't an advance metric guy because I feel he knows more than some computer geeks who never played the game.
  19. Growing up in the 70's and 80's Oklahoma was always one of the top 1-5 programs in the country
  20. Watching Seton Hall and Rutgers is making my eyes bleed. Put that with the game before and both are an insult to offensive basketball. I just wish the coaches today realize this style of offense is not conducive to good offenses. The dribble drive or pick and role just slows up an offense and it is very unappealing to watch. They want to run a NBA style of offense but they need to realize they NBA players to run it.
