Just looks to me there are a lot of bad shooting teams. When looking at the stats I see we are only shooting 18 free throws a game which is more of a concern to me that the amount of 3's we shoot.

It is funny the perception is that our perimeter shooting is still a huge problem. Also people think Purdue is so much better shooting team but we are shooting 37% to Purdue's 31% from 3

The offense you described is what I see from 95% of the teams in college basketball

Last week they lost at home to Seton Hall 45-43

I was responding to your post saying you can't see us finishing in the top of if the conference. Just asking why you don't see us finishing in the top half and who had proven to be that much better than IU

Besides Purdue who else has shown you that they are any better than us in the big ten. All the teams have struggled at some point in the non conference schedule. Even Purdue hasn't played great their last few games.

We are 10-3 at the break where I predicted 11-2 do we are not far off where a lot of us thought we would be. We have struggled lately and we need to take this break off to get rejuvenated. It seems we are a lite tire physically and mentally so the guys need to go home and get away from basketball for a few days. They need to be ready to come back and work hard in all the practice time they have.

Nobody is scared that we will lose but don't think it will be a 30-40 point blow out either

Problem is that nobody takes a lot of mid range shots

I hate analytics and think it's is ruing sports in general. In basketball it is taking away the third of the court and it makes it easier to defend. To me any open shot that goes in is a good shot but these computer geeks say that mid range game is bad. They say today's way of playing is more efficient but why is scoring and shooting down today compared to the past.

Davis did go to the championship game. Crean won the big ten twice and made the sweet 16 3 times. Not good enough for IU but it isn't like they had no success

Most teams have the same problems we have. UNC came into the season ranked #1 and is 8-4. UM was considered.one of the favorites in the big ten is now 7-4. Duke has lost 3 games and it is the first time they have lost 3 games before the New Year in over 20 years

Saw that Iowa State has cancelled their men and women's game for tomorrow due to weather. Wonder if more will be cancelled on Thursday or Friday due to the blizzard lime conditions that is expected in some areas.

Wow Iowa lost at home against E. Illinois a team ranked lower than Elon and Jackson St

Coaches can win when it comes to fans. Everyone wanted us to schedule better teams and we did that with KU and Arizona plus UNC and Xavier. Knowing there was a chance we could lose a couple of them but fans still complain. Others complain about the weak opponents. Also if we try to schedule teams ranked 100-125 those bteams will probably ask for a return game on their homecourt which we don't want to do.

Wonder if Alabama fans are complaining about playing Jackson State last night. It seems like our fan base has to find something to complain about.

There is a reason that RMK always played 2 holiday tournaments around three holidays. He knew this time of year is hard for the players to concentrate so they play teams they know they will beat

Have to start recruiting more tough minded players who is willing to work for playing time. It seems like it has been awhile since we have had players who were just played with a toughness and grit.

Kokomo probably has the same problem as other towns that were mainly manufacturing towns. Places like New Castle, Connorsville, Muncie, Richmond were all big time basketball tiwns that now are not as good.

Look at the schedule this week and everybody is playing these kind of games. You can't play 11 non conference games against top 50 teams.

Last time I checked Duke was down 14 at Wake Forrest.
