    And almost everyone advocating for bringing him admits that he would most likely be fired after next season regardless. So bring him back for one more year just so you don't have to fire him now. It's like giving some guy on death row who has a failing liver a transplant just to keep him alive a few months so he can make it to his execution date. Insanity.

    Lighten up folks. He will be the guy until he's not the guy. Dolson seems to run a pretty tight ship. I wouldn't expect any leaks and I doubt anyone here can really say for sure what the plan is.

    Still can't believe we hired this guy. 2 unbelievable hires in a row. It's hard to be this bad on accident. @Chris007 as someone who I assume had to be around Archie quite a few times does this surprise you?

    I feel like recruiting at a school like IU sort of takes care of itself especially with the NIL. Archie had a boring style of play and a really strange personality and landed 3 five stars in 4 years. Crean was a weirdo and had 5 in 5 years at one point. Woody can't coach a lick and got JHS, Reneau, Ware, and MM. Recruiting wouldn't be my concern.

    Smart people know that was all TJD and we likely underachieved both seasons. Also, Woody has worn out his welcome and recruiting is dead. It's only going to get worse. I don't think any of that is even debatable.

    I guess here's the question for the board if you're Scott Dolson. You've tried to land a whale such as Pearl or Oats. Came close but both said no. You're choice is to hire a Dusty May or Chris Collins or bring back Woody. If you bring back Woody next season is almost guaranteed to resemble Crean's first 3 years and the 2025 recruiting class is gone. What do you do?
