Chris, who everyone on this board seems to look up to, has said Woody is only getting canned if we lose out or close to it. This is IU we are talking about. If they can muster any justification at all they'll bring Woody back knowing full well he'll be fired after next season.

Wins are great if they have a possibility of leading somewhere positive like a deep tourney run. That's obviously not the case this season. Last night to me was similar to when the Colts had Andrew Luck and that #1 pick sewed up and then miraculously won a couple miracle games at the end. It almost cost them everything. If Woody is back next season and UL, UM, OSU, and potentially UCLA all have openings and hire the good coaches currently available we will never recover.

I'm a Dusty May fan. But I prefer Schwerz. Dusty is always talked about as such a nice guy, great guy, great family man. That's usually the kiss of death in coaching. We've had so many from Cam Cameron to Bill Lynch to Tom Allen to Mike Davis to Crean to Archie to Woody. The Colts have had a ton from Dungy to Caldwell to Pagano to Reich. It's just not what we need. Schertz earned everything he got. Daddy kicked him out of the house. Lived off of friends couches. Got a girl knocked up then divorced. As someone else said he's a dude. We need another Knight, a Belichek, a Pitino, a Calipari, etc. An @$$ kicker so to speak. Not sure Dusty is that guy.

It sounded like he had burned most of his out of state bridges as well. He was awful at Georgia for a reason.
