    If I was Dolson I'd probably be taking his key card away immediately. Pretty clear he's a very disgruntled employee who knows he's no longer wanted and is therefore going into burn it down mode. We may never be a serious program again. I'm really worried.

    I think it would be cruel to give him another year. Ware and MM are gone. I think decent chance Reneau is too. He would need like 4 studs in the portal and that's just not going to happen. This won't end well.

    I didn't before yesterday but now I really think we'll see a change this year. I just can't see how they bring him back. Even the usual sunshine pumpers seem to have completely abandoned the program. Dolson will be in enormous trouble if he doesn't make a change and a splash hire.

    They do work in a completely different vacuum and that's the problem. It's hard to succeed when half the fan base is tweeting at recruits, telling them to go elsewhere, and rooting for loses to pile up in order to speed up the firing process before the coach has even coached his first game. That's what happens when you hire the guy no one wanted.

    Maybe the administration could do the one thing they've refused to do since the RMK firing...go out and hire who the fans want. For once give the fan base what it wants. Pearl, Drew, or Beard would all suffice. If the fans aren't completely on board the hire is doomed to fail from the start.
