Add me to the list of people who will be excited to see the HS recruiting threads heating back up. So many (in my mind) missed opportunities.

We're not discussing a four year old whose parents should have had a better handle on his discipline. We're talking about an adult who sometimes acted like that four year old throwing a tantrum. While I'm sure the administration(s) could have done more or could have done better, the adult (Knight) bears much of the responsibility as well. We can't say it was all on the administration and absolve him of all the repercussions of his behavior.

Plus, some players who are confident about their draft status will turn down the combine. They will feel there is no need to risk injury.

Yeah, that sort of stuff wasn't going to fly. He had plenty of opportunity and time over the years to change. It just wasn't going to happen. That's on him.

Just remember, he forced his way out of Indy. He got an extension on his contract, then complained about the amount and demanded more. By the rules, the Pacers could not do that, so then he demanded to be traded. He was traded to Portland (for Jermaine O'Neal) where he did the same thing all over again. Not the sharpest tack in the box.

Fill me in here. Did Chuck Crabb retire? I met him years ago. Seemed like a good guy.
