Dorn adding scoring depth is a real key. Teams, including UK coming up, are going to scout and focus Wilkerson as much as possible, Tucker too. Other guys are going to have to step up in turn creating space for them. Dorn’s looking better each game

This is the thing. These all time numbers minimally show this team’s potential to outperform expectations. So we’re not a top of conference team, but you don’t play this well and not be fully capable of at least a decent run into the tourney. The fatalism after two bad early games is just so extreme. Tonight showed the team can compete now they have to start showing consistent effort and overall play on the road

Clemson destroying BYU at half…

Agree, need more sets and actions to give him and Tucker better looks, B1G teams have them scouted as our #1 and 2 scoring options. Lamar is absolutely coachable he comes in from SHSU (here just north of H-Town) with years under his belt as a 40% plus deep shooter and great teammate. Time to add actions, can’t be predictable in conf and other guys have to be looked to with the kind of ball movement for better looks we saw against Marq, KSU and earlier

And no real surprise we're dropped out of the ranking this week, along with Kentucky. Team has work to do.

That ranking is no misdirected or misleading -- it's the ranking of that class, which is of course always the case. Yes the program absolutely needs to keep building with bigger and more athletic players, but that has now begun, which to me is the point. We have players on the current team that are already at the level needed to continue the program's rise to compete with the elite, the incoming frosh are outstanding, and that should signal what future recruiting will look like. Next year's team should be better, and so on and so on.

Ristic would definitely help imo. He played like a true point before going down to injury. Not this next game, but hope we see him suit up again soon. -
We’re 9 games in with a new roster and system, we’ve played very well — especially ball movement— in some games and horrible in others. Yes KSU isn’t proving to be top tier so far but they’re pretty good and a Hell of a lot better than Minny, so judging us by the way we played against Minny in my opinion is just silly negative nancy stuff. We are no more defined by how poorly we played against Minny than by how well we played against KSU - we’re a team in progress that has experience and talent and knows how to play on both ends. We won’t compete this season for top of conf but we can be a tournament team. Next season and going forward DeVries needs more athleticism to go with the shooting, but I’m confident we’ll get there fwiw.

This trip I was visiting my Brit cousins in Northhamtonshire which is about an hr 1/2 north of London, but we visited London last spring. There are many many things to do and see of course in London, but def worth a trip to the Tower of London (castle, really enjoyable tour and beautiful), Big Ben and Buckingham Palace — surrounding park.
