Very disappointing for Lamar Wilkerson to not go dancing. And at the hands of ****ing northwestern. Ugh.

It's a gosh darn sin that Lamar Wilkerson's career is ending like this.

I think this season gets a flat D in my book solely because we did beat Purdue at home. The recruiting class I'd give a B. Weight the season more heavily than the recruiting class... overall I'd give the start of the DDV era a D+ maybe C- if I'm generous. We need to hit some home runs in the portal. Next year should be much better. We spent poorly on the roster and the coaching cost us a few games IMO. Hopefully a lot of learnings have already been getting applied behind the scenes in the portal. And hopefully there's a lot of reflection and constructive feedback for DDV to take with next year's team. This season was a little better than the last 2 Woodson years for me, but not by much, and mainly just because DDV isn't an arrogant dipshit like Woody

Tucker's career going out like a wet fart sucks... Sadly all of the misses on this roster (especially Tucker, Bailey, Conerway) are the main reason for any optimism about next year. Largely fresh start. We have to spend better, flat out. But that is only the start of fixing the problems, me thinks

I wonder how much Dorn and Miles make. I wonder if their budget is better spent on 1 spot. I mean... there's just nothing to build on outside of the freshmen and Sisley.

Hard to believe if we took care of business against Northwestern at home in the regular season we'd probably be comfortably in the field right now? Harder to believe we are probably going to lose to them a second time... It seems like the staff never really got the right feel for this group (roster construction aside) and the change in starting lineup tonight sort of confirms that. Hopefully we see a big improvement in year 2.

Love Evan Miya's work. Seems notable the four likely 1 seeds all have really good 8th men. This shows the difference between each team's most impactful and 8th impactful player. IU is not in the chart because I'm pretty sure he only includes the projected field at this time of year in his graphics. Safe to say ours would look similar to BYU, Iowa, Ohio State. Also interesting how little drop off there is for Louisville.

For sure. 3 strikes, you're out in supremely fair in sports. If we followed it with Woodson, we'd have hired Dusty when Michigan did. And if we followed it with Archie, but still hired Woodson, we could've hired Dusty coming off his final four run. 3 strikes and out is fair. Don't need to give every coach 4 years.

IMO we need a starting front court and back court + backup PG. Return Sisley, Harris, Andrej and + two starter quality bigs and the front court should be fine. We have plenty of guys who can play the 2/3. Not a ton of guys who can run point. Pay big for the starting PG and C. Pay the starting CG 1-1.5M. Try and find a good value 4 to compete with Sisley and a competent back up PG
