  1. Nojel Eastern has committed to Howard U. They'll have him and Makur Maker if they play.
  2. We can beat any of Wisconsin, Penn State, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Maryland, Rutgers, Michigan State and Purdue. But I say we win 5.
  3. I think MSU will be fine. Rocket Watts should fill in just fine. Langford should be returning. Bingham was a good athletic big last season. Henry returns and they'll have Joey Hauser.
  4. 1. Wisconsin 2. Illinois 3. Michigan State 4. Indiana 5. Iowa 6. Rutgers 7. Purdue 8. Michigan 9. Ohio State 10. Maryland 11. Minnesota 12. Penn State 13. Nebraska 14. Northwestern
  5. Big Ten will clearly be the best conference. But I do hope teams like Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Illinois. An separate themselves from the rest of the conference and stay in the top 5, 10, 15 nationally.
  6. So is Archie trying out a new offensive system? Again?
  7. Sounds like a baby. That team could just compete with them and teams in the East weren't supposed to.
  8. Watching the Northwestern game from last season... just gets you excited. This team should be competitive.
  9. Business wise, only smart to keep men's basketball and football. Schools can't do that though.
  10. Why is that ludicrous? It should be an option. Would every school do it? No. IU would still probably have pretty much everything they do now. Most big schools wouldn't want the Twitter hate to go along with it. But smaller schools that don't make any money, they should be able to have that option. Might be able to save some money by not wasting it on some sports.
  11. I'm saying all schools should be able to. Let schools have the choice. If Indiana wanted men's basketball, football, men's soccer and women's bball. They should be able to. And right now, that would be the best option with there being so much uncertainty.
  12. Schools should be able to choose what sports they want without having to make it even based on what the school can afford and what money that sport brings in.
  13. Outside of title ix needing to be gone anyways, they will have to make a change. Many schools worked around even before all of this. If things keep going in the direction they are, sports might not be played. But if schools have to pick, the NCAA will have to adjust because schools won't be able to afford 18 teams. Outside of men's bball and football, all other sports are just moochers.
  14. Just because they are on the block doesn't mean they'll get chopped.
  15. I'd say you would have to put all women's sports except maybe WBB on the chopping block and then all other men's sports except maybe baseball.
  16. Gotta make money. And those 2 obviously make by far the most.
  17. Makur Maker to Howard U.
  18. Pretty simple really. Everything but men's basketball and football are expendable.
  19. Dane Fife was kinda overrated in a way. He was a McDonalds All American coming out of HS and wasn’t exactly a star but did turn out to be a hell of a defender. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  20. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So are they going to play 6 feet apart on the court too? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  21. And him. Though I’m not sure he starts. Bingham was pretty good alongside Tillman. But they should have a good rotation at the 4-5 spots. And Izzo will probably only play about 8 guys. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  22. I’m just not on the Iowa bandwagon. Wisconsin should be the best team and if Tillman, Henry and Langford are starting alongside Watts and Bingham, MSU might be the best team again. Indiana SHOULD be up there but it all depends on the offense for them. I also see Purdue being better than they were last season. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  23. Smith was a forward for us, which is technically still the front court player(SF, PF, C). Not sure it’s a good enough addition to do that. And we clearly have more faith in a group of TJD, Brunk, Thompson, Hunter, Leal, Durham, Geronimo, Franklin than anyone else. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  24. That doesn’t actually change anything because there was still one always on the block and the screener was rolling. Pretty much a fact that Smith was put into a position to fail when playing with TJD and Brunk. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  25. They have a more free flowing offense. He might end up with more space to work. That’s just something he couldn’t get last season because TJD and Brunk almost never shot outside of 10 feet. They barely moved outside 15 feet outside of screens. Smith really had no choice no matter what. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
