  1. Nate McMillan is now a cool 3-14 with the Pacers in the playoffs. All 3 wins came against the Cavs in the first round of the 2018 playoffs. Been swept 3 times... Dude still gets an extension. Going on 4 sweeps.
  2. You think the NBA and Disney arent on top of that? They likely know everyone working and dropping off food etc. Like most successful places do.
  3. I have to wear a mask 5 days a week while cooking at work.
  4. This Pacers team is so weak. But we get this for a few more years as McMillan stupidly gets extended rather than shown the door.
  5. There is no risk of COVID in the NBA bubble. They have a higher risk of getting food poisoning.
  6. They've reduced the risk for basically everything down to 0. Only thing they can get is man made at this point. If anyone was going to be getting sick, they already would have been. By now, they should be more worried about food poisoning than COVID.
  7. So then why not wear mask during games? They are playing against each other, breathing and sweating all over each other and don't wear mask. Can you only transmit it playing ping pong or bowling? The NBA and Disney have that place on lockdown. No one is sneaking through. They test constantly too.
  8. No it's politics. You shouldn't wear a mask at all times. You don't need to social distance at all times. They are doing it for no reason. And considering how far down their ratings are, they aren't reaching very many people.
  9. If one leaves the bubble, they have to quarantine when they come back and be tested and all that. Seems to be just politics. There should be guys from other teams in the stands for a crowd at this point. They've went like 4weeks with no positives. The guy interviewing during games last night was a wearing a mask and social distancing while asking questions. You just look like a goober. They all look like goobers.
  10. No we wouldn't. For one, the Turner-Sabonis tandem isn't good. Vic still isn't back to what he was and he may never be. Turner is still weak. Then the drafting of Goga which was a joke and not picking up any free agent bugs to back up Turner. Pritchard is awful at his job. The Pacers are terrible at trying to be contenders. Had the chance in 13-14 and it just didn't happen.
  11. Pelicans probably had some kind of idea Davis was going to leave. But the Pacers never even try. We just rent guys a couple years and start over.
  12. Can anyone explain why the NBA is social distancing and wearing masks? They are in the safest environment in America and probably the world. COVID isn't just popping up like a ninja.
  13. Could have easily thrown in Turner and Thad Young and probably even Monta Ellis with some picks and you build around that. The Pacers front office though doesn't have the balls to pull something like that and never will. They are happy just collecting checks for the first round.
  14. Why wouldn't I believe him? The Pacers haven't done anything to say they want to compete for a title.
  15. You can stay under the luxury tax with two great players. Or you can just win a crap ton, make a bunch of extra money and not be worried about it.
  16. He's also completely out of the coaching game and wasn't a bad recruiter at Alabama and can relate guys and knows what it takes to move to the NBA. Obviously it's a far fetched idea, but he'd be a great candidate, even if it were just a stepping stone for him to get back into coaching on any level.
  17. I'm going with Avery Johnson. That's who I'd like to see.
  18. Pacers front office likes to be good enough for the playoffs but not good enough to challenge for the Eastern Conference title. And it's no secret anymore considering they could have easily paired Paul George and Anthony Davis and they didn't want that.
  19. Pacers very stupidly extend McMillan. Proving more and more, they are just worried about only being good enough but never wanting to compete.
  20. I don't think he's coaching anywhere right now but it could be good for him getting back into it. But he definitely has that experience and has those NBA ties and knows what it takes which could be intriguing to recruits.
  21. How about someone with a ton of experience at the NBA level and some at the college level? Avery Johnson?
  22. Meh. We really need an X's and O's and/or talent developer on the bench. We just haven't had that. From Archie down.
  23. Will oddly make Howard a must watch.
