Cody never needed to. TJD doesn't even need to. The notion that he needs to be able to shoot 3s or hot mad range shots is absolutely ridiculous. Tristan Thompson, Robert Williams, Clint Capela and more can't hit a 10 foot shot. TJD needs to worry about being very good and smart on defense(especially pick and roll), hitting layups and having great energy. Rebound and play defense and TJD is good.

There is a place for a big man slower than a sloth that can't defend and won't be an elite scorer. You will not find anyone as bad of a defender at the center position, worse than Garza. Maybe Jahlil Okafor... But Garza isn't even that good.

If only ____ could get a reliable jumpshot. How many players have we heard this about? Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Ben Simmons come to mind real quick.

Garza will be spending a lot of his time chilling on a bench somewhere, that's if he makes it. If you're not putting up 25+, you best be able to defend parked cars. Garza can't. At the NBA level, he will get absolutely eaten alive on defense and his offensive game doesn't translate. Now some might want to compare him to Nikola Jokic, which is fair.. but Jokic can defend a parked car. Frank Kaminsky is having an okayish role playing career. Garza isn't even as good as Kaminsky was. Garza will likely be a stud overseas.

Even more of a reason to make Elon an IU fan.

I believe he was on his staff for a couple seasons at Ohio State. I think right after Oden and Conley. 07/08 and 08/09. Ohio State went 24-13 and missed the tourney and then 22-11 and lost in the first round. Then Archie went to Arizona and was with them for Sean's first two seasons there in 09/10 and 10/11. Arizona went 16-14 the first season missing the NCAAs and then 30-8 and Elite Eight appearance.

It's a tall task, but there are many donors who are probably done with Archie. If not, you're just asking for a highly likely bloodbath next season.

Yea... Well like... Archie beat Matta during his Elite Eight run so like... Archie is obviously way better.
