  1. That's the Big Ten for ya. Can't hurt your top dog.
  2. I believe the 87' team had 3 Indiana kids on it. The 81' team had like 8 but star of the show wasn't from Indiana. Even most of our guys from Indiana can't shoot... Giving us a bad name.
  3. Fife isn't an exciting hire by any means. It's not going to pump up the fan base at all. Just please a few people. It really doesn't answer what we need which is a fiery charismatic guy that is going to have Indiana playing fast and fun basketball that also has a toughness to compete with. Hiring Fife is just kinda an "oh well, he's an IU guy like y'all wanted. Be happy." Then we get into the character part that many have seemed to of set the standards for. If we can't hire Alford, we can't hire Fife who is a big mystery as to what he's known about going on at MSU. I'm not saying Fife knew anything or did anything.
  4. Maybe so but I'd say Fife is a bad hire and just trying to please a few nursing home peeps.
  5. Smith and Green won us a few games. And from I remember, it was Smith and Durham who were the problems, even though it was always Green and Davis getting dragged through the mud. And Al Durham instead has an fan club. Is what it is. People want to throw blame at someone and it's always the guys leaving just to make themselves feel better. Always forgetting the motto "Once a Hoosier, always a Hoosier."
  6. And Fife would be a god awful choice. We would basically be giving up at that point.
  7. Well Arkansas is ranked 24th. They are 17-5(9-4). So I'd say he is having fun actually winning for once.
  8. Northwestern holding the best player in the nation to just 3 points and Aaron losing by 12.
  9. Looking like Justin Smith might have made the right choice. Maybe.
  10. Most likely. I don't believe it'd would change much. It would just be nice to see. We've went 25 years of being mediocre. I'm just one who believes it's time to leave the history in the rafters and throughout the halls and lobby.
  11. In the day and age of social media, new jerseys can be huge. It's something to post and get interest. Creates a buzz.
  12. Something like what Illinois has would be kinda neat. With the Indiana shape being a different color of flooring and then maybe the Script Indiana going across.
  13. What about a new court design? Like the court itself?
  14. That's still more creative and has a much better flow than ours right now. They are at least aesthetically pleasing. If we were winning, we'd still have the classic look.
  15. I create IU jerseys on 2k21 sometimes.
  16. The new jerseys stink. I think we should save the Zeller era ones for special days. "Throwback jerseys" that also add in an extra merch possibility. But I'd like to basically copy what some NBA have. Pacers would be neat. Something simple like the Spurs but have the stripes on the side. Maybe something like what Denver has with their "sunset" jerseys and have the sample gates. What we have no is the least creative thing imaginable.
  17. I don't think Puma has any programs anywhere. But Id love the Jordan move. It would be the only reason I'd ever wear Jordan. The dad in me though wants a move to New Balance.
  18. It's really something that's impossible to fix. Especially under the balcony. We at least have a football stadium with great views though.
  19. I don't think it would make the program better performance wise by any means, but Assembly Hall needs way too many updates. Whatever engineers they have need to find a way to eliminate all or the majority of the walls to allow more flow for the stands. New jerseys. Something creative. It's a new era. A new era needs to be brought in with something different. The history hangs in the rafters, no need to wear it. Get rid of Adidas. Be a follower or be a pioneer. Nike or something like Puma.
  20. Completely agree. We are an outdated program. Plain and simple. From coach to where we play. No fun. No excitement.
  21. Not sure that means much if you don't win.
  22. Huh? Brown averages 26 ppg. Both are two of the best defenders in the NBA.
  23. Tatum is overall better than half those guys. He's averaging 25.5 points, 7 boards, 4.5 assists and shooting 40% from 3.
  24. I hate the snow and the sand sooo... I need somewhere that has neither ideally. But for now, I'll take the snow over the sand.
