A really good coach could do a lot with a base of Armaan, TJD, Lander, Phinisee, Leal, Galloway and their picks of the transfer portal.

Lander is who I want to keep the absolute most. He's the starter next season under a great coach. He's got the speed, vision and explosiveness to be exciting.

Kids today still know who the Fab 5 is because it gets blasted ok Twitter and ESPN and whatever else at times. Plus Michigan is already a gigantic brand. The recruits know they'll be getting Jordan brand of whatever. It was a perfect situation I think. As for someone like Penny Hardaway... Guys just don't know Penny these days. He's just a guy that could have been great without the injuries.

People are just stupid but it's the flavor of the decade. Beilein would be a good hire. Just not sure we can afford the name brand walkers and velcro shoes.

Scoring was way up the 80s simply because no one cares to play defense. Then it flip flopped in the 90s. The early 2000s was its own deal. Teams are starting to score more without a doubt and guys are more talented and skilled than ever before. Offenses are also allowed to have space and freedom and not just be grabbed because defenders suck at defending.

Bingo. It's not just a track meet. It's pushing the ball with a purpose and looking up the floor. Taking driving angles the defense gives. Just playing smart and confident basketball. We've spent 4 years watching the dumbest and most scared offense in college basketball.

Well considering Duke won it in 2015 and UNC won in 2017... It's more on anti-running an offense at a sloths pace and trying not to score.

How about both? Like Kansas and UNC.

The crazier thing is that keeping Archie around would have been even worse. Indiana fans are actually paying attention to being involved at the moment. Archie already murdered the brand. I know everyone wants to be all "professional" and "nice" with him leaving, but he was absolutely awful in every aspect. He very literally killed the brand of Indiana basketball in just 4 years. There was no option of keeping him unless everyone was just accepting that Indiana basketball should suck. PS: Stevens is NEVER coming to IU. Indiana had a window and passed on it. Move on. We need to go after Oats and Shaka.
