  1. Let's LSU. Screw the Big Ten!
  2. More freedom of movement, cleaning up the unnecessary physicality. The current is what the Big Ten wants though.
  3. I believe it was a conference record 9 teams. And I hope it happens.
  4. Well if you're scoring 75... And other teams aren't...
  5. Or they are just overrated.
  6. I'm not asking to be in the Top 50 in tempo. A Bennett lead team would need maybe an extra 10 possessions a game to be in 75ppg range. Why does that sound so crazy? Why couldn't Bennett adjust to that? If the greatest college football coach of all time can adjust to fit today's game, why can't Bennett?
  7. They are the polar opposite. They are Wisconsin Basketball. Built on trying to keep the game to as few possessions as possible.
  8. It's certainly shown the highest and the lowest of the NCAA Tourney which is crazy.
  9. Efficiency doesn't mean anything on tempo. Year after year they are one of the slowest teams in the nation.
  10. That 87 team also averaged 82.5 ppg. So it's not like they needed a huge adjustment. They were already a great scoring team. But UNLV did average 10 ppg more.
  11. He can win. And he'd win at Indiana and I'd love that. But he and his style don't belong here. We just spent 4 years struggling to score and now we are going to try and not score? Nah. Some coaches fit places well. He doesn't fit Indiana. From personality to playing style.
  12. Here is what we did scoring wise under Knight along with how the season ended. Now I might be crazy with high standards, but we only missed the tourney once under Knight when we averaged 75+ and won two titles. Now the early 70's were obviously a bit different. I believe we won a share of the Big Ten in 73-74.
  13. We could win in multiple ways, but more times than not, the team was very good offensively and put up points.
  14. Beilein would have been the perfect hire like... 15 years ago or so.
  15. Correct. I'll never change. Sorry for being consistent I guess? His style can stay in Wisconsin and Virginia.
  16. Well when Indiana was actually good... Under McCracken... Under Knight.. even under Crean.. we got up and down the court and tried putting the ball in the hoop.
  17. I don't care what the average is. Not looking for average. No excuse to be below 75.
  18. Because it would be a failure. He doesn't fit Indiana. We literally just had a cardboard cutout of a coach that couldn't get the fanbase excited. He fits Virginia. A historically bad basketball school that had zero culture. So Bennett built one. Indiana has a culture for basketball and Bennett is the literal opposite.

  20. Sorry that I want good basketball. Playing not to score like a crappy HS game, isn't basketball. It's not Indiana basketball.

  23. I consider someone who would make Indiana a bore to be a failure. He doesn't fit the job in anyway. He doesn't have a style that fits IU basketball and he doesn't have a personality more than a cardboard box. He's literally the exact opposite of what is needed.
  24. It would be quite the failure on Dolsons part to hire him. Plain and simple.
  25. He's not going to attract more talent with that disgrace of a system.
