  1. Jackson already played the 4 beforehand when the Valanciunas and when Steven Adams was healthy. The 4 is where Jackson has actually been at his best. He won DPOY and started at the 4 for 2/3 of the season. And offensively he doesn't want to be in the paint anyways as he likes to be on the perimeter shooting 3s. It's literally the best situation for him to have Adams healthy and Edey to play the 5.
  2. I can't stand Butlers arrogance. And I can't stand Machine Gun Kelly Jr. Indifferent on Bam and Jaquez. Don't care for Martin. Indifferent on the rest. It is just a roster built almost of randomness. Rozier? Waste of a trade. But Bam/Ware? That could be fun to watch those two play off each other with Bams playmaking skills.
  3. This could end up really well for Miami. And as a Miami fan, there is finally a player I actually like on the team. Ever tried being a fan of a team where you don't like the players? But looking at how Lively played last year, Ware can do similar. And a pairing of Bam/Ware at the 4/5 is intriguing.
  4. I get Clingan. He is Walker Kessler. Won't demand the ball, set screens, protect the rim. I get Edey because he can do those things but also has a polished offensive game if needed and he's just massive. I don't know how good Edey will actually be, that'll depend on the team and system Memphis runs with him. But Edey is going to have a great chance to start with Ja, Bane and Jackson.
  5. Edey improved a ton in mobility last year and took Clingan to school in the national title game(Edey just had zero help). I get it's fun to hate on Purdue and everything but the "he's too slow" argument is absolutely ridiculous when trying to argue in favor of Clingan who is clearly less mobile than Edey. And Ware did murder the combine. I think that's why he went from late 1st/2nd to 15th.
  6. Edey had Clingan in all categories.
  7. Maybe. I just don't see it. Clearly other NBA didn't see it either. I'm thinking just another Dennis Smith Jr.
  8. The combine showed it when Edey was clearly more athletic in every drill.
  9. If he's a bad pick at 9, then Clingan at 7 is?
  10. Remember when I said Filipikowski and Collier should have returned to school? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
  11. A plodding big was also taken at 7 as well... Edey is just less plodding.
  12. Unless Woody shows some insane improvement with his guards... Mullins is going elsewhere. These recruitments never ends up well for Indiana. Probably ends up at Kansas, UConn or Michigan.
  13. They probably could have saved 10s of thousands of dollars by just not having a forest on the floor. And people would actually like it.
  14. The dominance doesn't help and Boston not having a legitimate super star but still having a super team doesn't help. It's a weird thing. ESPN needs way better coverage. It's garbage and people know it. There isn't a feeling about the playoffs or finals anymore. It all feels like the regular season anymore. All the injuries and Bostons absolutely cakewalk through the East that didn't have a single healthy team. NBA needs to figure their crap out. Having the Finals on ESPN isn't the answer. Need something fresh and that won't turn people away by blatant bias and agendas.
  15. Another team will be dumb enough to hire him. You'd think Detroit would have seen failed in New Orleans, Phoenix. NBA and NFL have the same problem of just cycling fired HCs.
  16. I'll continue keeping everyone updated. Y'all are extended family at this point!
  17. I think there was only 2 game 7s. And a couple of game 6s? Boston went 16-3 and the only team they swept gave them their best series.
  18. Colvin might? But I doubt it. Loyer is actually a part of a scouting report. "Don't leave him open." And Loyer has gravity on the court himself, even without Edey. If those other guys can shoot 44% from 3, they could overtake him, but I don't see that happening.
  19. Catchings is going to whoever offers him the most PT. So probably BYU.
  20. I'm pretty sure you said last summer that Loyer wouldn't even be able to shoot better than 40% from 3. Everyone on here kept being wrong about Purdue outside of just a few of us. Loyer was a big part of that and showed up in some big games. 27 against Arizona and Tennessee(14 against Tennessee the 2nd time). His top 8 scoring outputs were against those 2 and big Ten teams(Indiana, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan State and Wisconsin). Had a rough game against UConn, but everyone was blown out by UConn. Having zero there doesn't somehow mean he sucks. Hell Klay Thompson just did the same thing in an elimination game. He isn't going to be Purdues best player or #1 option, but he's probably Top 5 SG in the B1G. Which, may not say great things about the B1G but it isn't exactly a star stuffed league by any stretch and Shannon and Storr both are gone.
  21. Boring and terrible Finals yet again for the NBA.
  22. This is the same crap that was said last summer. "Purdue won't be as good. Loyer isn't good enough. Smith isn't good enough blah blah blah." They won the Big Ten and went to the national championship.
  23. Well that's called gravity on a court because you can't leave him open.
