  1. I think there was only 2 game 7s. And a couple of game 6s? Boston went 16-3 and the only team they swept gave them their best series.
  2. Colvin might? But I doubt it. Loyer is actually a part of a scouting report. "Don't leave him open." And Loyer has gravity on the court himself, even without Edey. If those other guys can shoot 44% from 3, they could overtake him, but I don't see that happening.
  3. Catchings is going to whoever offers him the most PT. So probably BYU.
  4. I'm pretty sure you said last summer that Loyer wouldn't even be able to shoot better than 40% from 3. Everyone on here kept being wrong about Purdue outside of just a few of us. Loyer was a big part of that and showed up in some big games. 27 against Arizona and Tennessee(14 against Tennessee the 2nd time). His top 8 scoring outputs were against those 2 and big Ten teams(Indiana, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan State and Wisconsin). Had a rough game against UConn, but everyone was blown out by UConn. Having zero there doesn't somehow mean he sucks. Hell Klay Thompson just did the same thing in an elimination game. He isn't going to be Purdues best player or #1 option, but he's probably Top 5 SG in the B1G. Which, may not say great things about the B1G but it isn't exactly a star stuffed league by any stretch and Shannon and Storr both are gone.
  5. Boring and terrible Finals yet again for the NBA.
  6. This is the same crap that was said last summer. "Purdue won't be as good. Loyer isn't good enough. Smith isn't good enough blah blah blah." They won the Big Ten and went to the national championship.
  7. Well that's called gravity on a court because you can't leave him open.
  8. Same could be said for CWat and Hulls with Zeller down low. Hornsby and Coverdale with Jeffries down low. Kopp and Galloway's only good season shooting with TJD down low. That isn't a knock a player like you think it is. That's a player taking advantage of what's given to him. He shot 44% from 3 on the year. That's his specialty.
  9. Maybe. But they weren't. And he was. And he played pretty well and shot it really really well.
  10. Leal is indeed the G.O.A.T. There is zero argument.
  11. And Loyer is the only one out of any of them that has won anything while also being good.
  12. Conference isn't exactly strong at SG.
  13. Except Purdue is returning the best point guard in the conference, a Top 5 SG, TKR who has had some big games as a 4th-5th option and the best coach in the conference.
  14. Sounds like he values a front row seat.
  15. He "well my draft stock can't go higher, might as well leave." It makes no sense. For a kid like Collier, it actually could go higher by just having your team actually win games and putting up the same numbers. For Filipikowski, you will always be mid first round, so why not create a legacy while still getting paid big bucks instead of sitting on the bench or in the GLeague?
  16. Even more sense to stay at Duke. Actually build a freaking legacy for yourself rather than being forgotten. That's mindset is just absolutely ridiculous.
  17. I don't think any of them have honestly weighed the pros and cons. I don't think the majority of guys think about it. For a guy like Collier, the thought is "I was expected to be a 1 and done and the #1 pick, so I have to go." He isn't ready. He's a goodwill Scoot Henderson. Or a guy like Filipikowski. He's Mike Muscala 2.0.
  18. I mean... He just isn't that good. People thought he would be a Top 5 draft talent and it just wasn't the case. He was a 2 and done type of player.
  19. So you feel being outta the league or just sitting at the end of a bench is worth it?
  20. Dillingham and Edey are the best of that group. I don't understand how anyone told Furphy, McCain, George, Filipikowski, Missi or Collier that leaving college was a good idea.
  21. We've yet to make an Elite 8 under Adidas.
  22. I was toldby a Wisconsin fan that they would be better than last year because their top two portal gets are better fits than Wahl and Storr.
  23. I could see UConn throwing a bag at Sampson or trying to pull a Jay Wright outta retirement. If the Celtics win the Finals... Brad Stevens?
  24. Having Lively or Gafford on you is a lot different than Kyrie or Hardy.
