  1. We are looking for someone who is content with getting Sparks like minutes and be ready to play if(when) Reneau and Ballo are in foul trouble. Maybe average 5-8 minutes on the year. Be a leader on the bench as a senior and play hard when on the court. We aren't looking to have Nikola Jokic as a backup.
  2. I was hoping for another Max Bielfeldt type. Change of pace backup 5. He shot 33% from 3 on 1.5 attempts last season. Maybe more of a Bielfeldt than a Tom Pritchard.
  3. Haliburton just needs to shoot more in rhythm. Everything he does is off the dribble and step backs. It's hardly ever just catch and shoot but he never seems ready to shoot in a normal catch and shoot situation. He wants to drive and dish but that isn't always best.
  4. Haliburton will have to really step up finally. Quit taking so many stupid 3s. And gotta play defense. No Julius Randle, so best thing might be just staying home and trying to make Brunson win it by himself.
  5. No way we could get him obviously, but Trevon Brazile would make a hell of a backup 4.
  6. So many Kentucky fans tried crapping on Pope... But that roster isn't looking too shabby right now.. G- Lamont Butler G- Travis Perry G- Kerr Kriisa G- Collin Chandler G- Koby Brea F- Andrew Carr F- Otega Oweh C- Amari Williams C- Brandon Garrison
  7. Maybe but look what dudes have been doing in the Drew League and everything. Like stars of the NBA are playing pickup ball in the summer. So I don't see why they wouldn't play in this. At least some guys that aren't big time rotation dudes. I don't expect Kentucky to roll out an All-Star team.
  8. Best student section ever was Paoli 07-08.
  9. Is Dipo technically under contract still?
  10. Is there a rule on NBA guys playing? No way it is in anyways contract considering so many play in the Drew League and whatnot.
  11. His wife lol. His son coaches now as well.
  12. You said it happened after Paoli. But Hinton was at Paoli from 2006-2010.
  13. About time. Who is next? Yogi Robert Johnson JBJ Maybe get Zeller and Oladipo? Romeo?
  14. A school like Providence it wouldn't matter. But at a public school... Not so much. But he was an old fart while at Paoli. He was there my Freshman and Sophomore year and it was a guarantee he was falling asleep during practice.
  15. Hewas at Paoli from the 2006-2007 through 2009-2010 season.
  16. He definitely may or may not have gotten a kid to move from Floyd to Paoli or somewhere around there. My broski was the starting center on that team. Fun Paoli team to watch. Had the true point guard that basically never shot, the 3 level scorer/playmaker, the mid range scorer, the sniper from 3 and my brother, the bruiser. Of course ran into a private school in the regionals. But yea, Hinton literally only cares about one kid. Was there long enough to coach his 4 years. Ruined many grades below that by not caring and trying to develop.
  17. Me and my brother both got some coaching out of Joe Hinton as well. At least when he wasn't falling asleep at practice lol.
  18. Well it can't be no one. Everyone has a price. Even if it's 2% chance of leaving. No one on the team is at 0% until after tomorrow.
  19. Who would be the most likely to leave IU last minute in anyone's opinion? I think Reneau.
  20. Coleman Hawkins of Illinois is hitting the portal.
  21. Makes me wonder what Crean could have done with NIL and the portal to help that Zeller team or how things would have changed. We did have a couple transfers help that 2016 team. Maybe we could have gotten Zeller to stay another year. Maybe could have gotten Troy Williams to stay another year. Either way, Underwood was on a good trajectory for Illinois. Took 3 years to get the tourney and that isn't bad.
  22. Well I'm sure his first 2 seasons would have been different with the transfer portal and NIL. It's a whole new world now.
  23. He didn't his first two seasons at Illinois. But he was pretty good at SFA going 89-14 over 3 seasons. 20-13 his single season at Oklahoma State. At Illinois... 14-18 12-21 21-10(was told they'd continue sucking and Ayo Dosunmu wasn't that good) 24-7 23-10 20-13 29-9 and finally made the Elite 8.
