  1. Horses are too expensive and don't act like cats. now if you could find me a horse sized cat(that won't eat me), I'd look into it.
  2. I have as many sources as I do horses. Which is 0.
  3. I don't throw my opinion out often on recruits.
  4. Y'all didn't wanna believe me about Haralson either.
  5. I'm saying it's... 1. UConn 2. North Carolina 3. Indiana
  6. Chemistry, 3 point shooting and coaching. Does Woodson have the ability to get a team to 15, 16, 17 conference wins?
  7. I don't think they'll be leaning on Loyer for scoring. Just to spread the floor. It'll be Smith and TKR. Though I think Jacobsen could be their surprise guy or Heide.
  8. That is true. Minutes wise they may not be vets. but TKR has now been in the system for 2 years. Colvin and Heide for a year. Furst for 3. Purdue is still going to be a Top 15. They have questions. But so does everyone else.
  9. He's got a lot to prove but it shouldn't come as a surprise to see him and Purdue projected to be #1. Everyone else has even more questions than Purdue.
  10. I mean he's quite possibly the best point guard in the nation. but he's proven people on this board won't his freshman and sophomore year. he's just one of those dudes who exceed expectations. And in a guards game, Purdue happens to have the best point guard, best coach and lead by veterans.
  11. KAT is probably gonna end up getting exposed a bit. He's not a great defender and he's soft. And has probably gotten softer over the years. So I'm not sure how that's going to mesh with a leader like Brunson who is more of a "put everything on the line to win" kinda guy.
  12. Haralson would be a freshman in that hypothetical.
  13. So a bad season and you're ready for Shrews to bring Haralson with him?
  14. I think MSU gained a lot by Hoggard leaving. They'll miss Walker though. Overall though, Big Ten is down so MSU could rise up with Bookers, Akins and Fears. Booker also won't need to play the 5 so that's helpful. As for Penn State, it seems the media has as much faith in them as you did last summer. Northwestern will depend on Berry. If it's just Barnhizer, they'll be bad. Though if B1G refs were actually good at their job, they'd lose a lot anyways.
  15. Media poll is in... 1. Purdue(20) 2. Indiana(7) 3. UCLA(2) 4. Illinois(2) 5. Michigan State(1) 6. Oregon 7. Rutgers 8. Ohio State(1) 9. Michigan 10. Maryland 11. Iowa T12. Wisconsin T12. Nebraska 14. USC 15. Washington 16. Northwestern 17. Penn State 18. Minnesota
  16. Painter is the key and they still have Jacobsen and Berg for 7-3 bodies to throw around. Jacobsen will probably pass Berg in rotation.
  17. Yea that makes sense. I'm assuming he averages like 17 points and 8 assists. And Purdue will be a Top 15 team.
  18. I think the problem is KAT being as soft as Charmin. Which I'm pretty sure was Jimmy's problem with him. Dude is just a 7 foot tall JJ Redick. I'd lose my voice with much ID have to scream because he doesn't want to get on the block, even if Mugsy Bogues was guarding him. Minny now gets a sniper from 3 and a guy in Randle who can play bully ball but is also a 3 level scorer.
  19. They need to do a clean sweep. The ESPN on-air talent is pathetic.
  20. Yea people forget that team had Michael Carter-Williams, CJ Fair(who I liked watching for some reason), Brandon Triche, Rakeem Christmas, a freshman Jerami Grant, James Southerland. Team was very good. They'd probably be a 1 seed in 2024.
