  1. I'm not disagreeing with you. I like the potential of Gunn and Banks but neither is ready imo. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  2. What was it that made IU great? Was it localized recruiting, keeping same uniforms, Martha the Mop Lady, any # of anecdotal things you want to point at? Or was it possibly having an elite coach who had installed a winning culture by winning? In college basketball you need either an elite coach with good/great talent or elite talent with a good/great coach. I hear "what made IU great" and "bridge to the past" a lot but what does that even mean? And how does that help on court success now exactly? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  3. IU 84 Elon 56 Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  4. To me Galloway is your cliche "role player's often only play well at home". It is cliche but it also is often true and I think he fits that bill. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  5. Was thinking and have done zero fact checking or research so I could be way off here but I think Tom Crean was 1 player's decision away from having IU being elite and remaining that way. Victor Oladipo. Had Vic stayed for his 4th year as he had projected to initially and still developed like he had then Crean would possibly still be here. Think about the 13-14 team, that was a massive disappointment, if they would have had NPOY candidate VO. We had Vonleh, So. Yogi, Sheehey and Fr Troy along with some other pieces. Add VO as your alpha to that roster and what do you think happens? The next season would've been tricky at the 5 but you do also add Blackmon and Johnson to that team. So maybe 1 year of let down but then we know what happened the following year. Just a thought that tells possibly just how close we were not too long ago. I'm not suggesting Crean was the answer but had Oladipo stayed could he have made IU elite once again? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  6. Care to share what platform this is on? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  7. I think that was kind of his point. Another program would have developed his skills enough to be in the NBA Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah that's why I say Skoronski because he may be more well fit at RG, which is a serious need, or can play either T spot. I agree Raimann has earned the opportunity to secure the LT spot. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  9. I'm not either. Skoronski would be my pick because of his versatility on the line. I also think you can try and trade back into back end of the 1st Rd and try to get a QB or even wait until the 2nd rd possibly. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  10. If it's still Ballard you're probably right. He'll trade back into the 20's for a couple of his beloved 4th rd picks. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  11. I mean that's great??? Really would rather have a better draft position than a meaningless week 15 win personally Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  12. Yogi?? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  13. We aren't that far away it's just constantly making the wrong decisions on and off the court. On the court you all have eyes so you know what I'm talking about. Off the court we make bad coaching hires and recruit talent that we either miss on or cannot develop. We still land top end talent, have tremendous resources and an insane fan base. Those other things need fixed like 20 years ago. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  14. Doubt we're in it. It'd be a long drop so maybe we are but it doesn't feel like a top 25 team right now. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  15. Kansas isn't even anything special honestly. A team will look better when the opposing team hands them the ball on 1/3 of their possessions. Idk this is a bummer performance and I'm starting to think this team is just marginally better than last year. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  16. These games were meant to show us where we stand. Well.....we're on a completely different level from the KS and AZ's. One that is a lot further down. Got to get better and healthy for B1G play. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  17. This is where I'm thinking. This team has 8/9 written all over it imo. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  18. This is a bad look getting blown out 2 games in a row against good teams Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  19. This team knows you don't have to spot them a 20 pt lead before starting to compete right? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  20. I'm going to go on a limb and say that 50% from FT is pretty close to his average for the year? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  21. A HC's team will usually emulate his demeanor. Imo on the sidelines he is lacking in self discipline, gets way too amped and overall seems uncomposed. His team's lack discipline and are often uncomposed. If he was winning we/I wouldn't care but that's not happening so therefore it gets magnified. Part of the gig and he gets compensated a lot of $ to take the heat and the glory. Tail goes with the hyde or something like that. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  22. Oh they'll be doubling him. That's why we have to get it to him on the move, some high low with Race, when doubled need him to find the open shooter and most importantly and most unsure of shooters got to make shots. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  23. Unless you're looking for a 14 year career at QB. Not that I blamed Luck at all but as a Colts fan that was a real kick to jingle bells. They're still jingling. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  24. Sad. Hope he finds happiness. An example of sometimes it's best to stay and get that free education in case things don't go as planned. Hope he finds his happiness. Does Stanford honor scholarships if players leave early? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
  25. I thought this was all suppose to be so that players would be compensated for their NIL which I agreed with. That doesn't really seem to be a component at all and instead it's just used as a way to legally do what they were doing illegally before and contract mercenaries. Idk I knew this was all going to get stupid and it didn't take long at all for that to be true. There has to be some way to regulate all of this but if it's up to the NCAA then there's no point in even trying. I want athletes to have options and to be compensated for their NIL but I hate what college athletics has become. Be interesting what takes place with all of this in the future.
