I mean that was a disastrous 1st half but I'm not all that surprised. I'm surprised the defensive rebounding hasn't been a bigger issue prior to this game with the aggressive shot blocking we implement. It's been a bit of an issue for awhile but Pikiell is finally exploiting it. He's a damn good coach and his team is never a group of chumps. Been reading their "TKR" board and they seem to think he'll be out. Word (Pikiell) is he has to be cleared for full contact practice before he can play. As of today there has been no mention of him being cleared by doctors. I also would not be surprised by anything at all. I over value Mulcahy quite a bit so it may not matter a whole lot anyhow. Have to draw a line somewhere. Probably not too much longer and players will be transferring after 1st semester and playing with new team 2nd. This is getting ridiculous. Coach has a tough decision to make imo. Play him and risk losing respect of other players. Don't play him and lose more as I'm assuming he's one of their better players. Just not sure the point of declaring this in November Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

To add to that is guys on the court getting as excited, if not more so, for doing something that lead to another player's success (Geronimo last night). That is also culture and a refreshing sight to me not just for this team but for sports in general. Hard not to like this group of guys 1-13 (don't know how many walk-ons we have). I've had a similar feel to Kansas. Still very good but maybe not as great as normal. But then I remember that Kansas will dominate the Big 12 and be 1 or 2 in that conference and end up with a top 3 seed. Kansas will Kansas by the end. If IU wins that road game I'll be on board the deep tournament run train. The Phog is, if not THE best, one of the top 3-4 home court advantages in all of basketball.
