I’m not saying it is Brad, but there is plenty of reasons it isn’t being announced today. 1. The new coach could be notifying their current employer today. 2. IU could want to wait to announce on Wednesday or Thursday morning to ensure we are a big topic of conversation during the first round of the tournament. 3. The new coach may have still needed to tell their children about the change they are about to make. 4. Final paperwork may have still needed to be signed and or money moved to make it all official. There is 4 reasons off the top of my head. I know we all want to know who the new coach is, but I’m not surprised it didn’t come out today. I think if the tourney starts and we haven’t heard anything, it is a coach of a tournament team. Until then, it could be anyone.

The IU fan was in a prop plane. This one is a proper twin engine private jet. Still could be nothing.

Yea I have met some NBA scouts at IU games in the past. The only identifying thing they had was a leather portfolio with their team’s logo on it - if even that.

I believe the thought is that Dolson may have hitched a ride to go see BS in person.

One more thing to note that makes this a unique situation. The Celtics are currently selling a controlling stake of the franchise. They may want to wait for the new owners to get their own GM.

So there is another flight to that airport near Boston tonight from Indianapolis International departing at 11:30 pm. Still could be nothing. Sorry if this was already posted, hard to keep up tonight.

If it is McCollum, I’ll just be happy to have a coach that has coached college ball before. Dude has won a lot at the D2 level and wants the challenge that is IU. I just hope in an intro press conference he quotes Cig and says “Just like the football coach here, I win - you can google me too”. Lol

Word on the street is that Brad moved the goal posts and now wants this thread to reach 2,500 pages before he announces. He didn’t say anything about quality though!

You can not be emotionally weak on here....thick skin and "go with the flow" are a must. Otherwise, there could be tears....lots of tears.
