You can’t play MR and OB together. It’s so basic that it’s sad at this point that Woodson refuses to change.

He did…but Woodson’s style is so out dated that other players thrive in a modern style offense.

Exactly…I don’t think Woodson is just going to leave and him being fired is not a foregone conclusion with Buckner backing him. What makes anyone think that Buckner cares?

Listen, Woody is really sucking….but I don’t think this is going to be a foregone conclusion. As long as Woody has Buckner backing him….it could be very tough to move on. Again, force Buckner to sit in the front row until this is fixed.

Apparently Mendoza is visiting UCLA this weekend and has a real chance. It is strange that Sunseri is still on the staff while actively recruiting against us for possibly the most important player of the portal season. I’m not a fan of it.

We just can’t assume Woodson will be fired or retire. Woodson doesn’t report to Dolson. Woodson said in so many words to the hysterics that “he ain’t going nowhere” and that he will leave when Woodson decides it’s time to leave. It all comes down to whether Dolson has the cojones to make the move…

Woodson utilizes Ballo like he’s TJD and Ware. Obviously he’s neither of those players but Sleepy Mike hasn’t figured that out yet.

Remember with our mult-million dollar roster and talent that anything less than a 4 seed and second weekend appearance would be a failure for this year's talented team? Despite our overwhelming talent in comparison to Nebraska's, I expect a big loss. Why? Because Hoiberg employs a modern style of offense - including shooting multiple 3 pointers - in comparison to our stone age offense...that's a lot of overcome. 3 points > 2 points. Also, Nebraska will play hard for the full 40 minutes, we almost assuredly won't. These will more than make up the large disparity of talent that favors us. Again, 3 points > 2...it's why we've been blownout an ungodly amount of times with Woodson as coach...when teams start draining 3's, it starts snowballing. Even when we make our baskets, we're still losing every possession. Another food for thought...outside of Northwestern and Syracuse, no other team attempts less 3 pointers that us...however, we attempt just about more long 2's than anyone else (approximately 5 per game). Why not step back a foot and make those long two point attempts 3 point attempts? Seems like an easy fix...yet it hasn't been fixed for 4 years.

These are the type of games where you need to win by 25 plus points to have positive metrics. Yet again, probably won’t happen.

The APR issue was non-existent until they fired Sampson. At that point several of the players stopped going to class that second semester because they saw the writing on the wall....hence the failing grades.

Relax. We had players running over each...and multiple arrests occurred with more than one coach - not named Sampson - when leading the program. Sure, there were some "issues..." but there were no arrests and they could've been fixed. Further, we had high character guys coming in like Roth, Pritchard and Elson that he recruited. Also, he's had no issues at Houston while putting up a championship program.

Agreed. We told on ourselves. If we’re 99% of the other D1 programs we never ever hear about phone calls and things move forward with probably a Title or 2 in hand.

Woodson needs to Send a message that this isn’t acceptable

Yes….improper conditioning is the reason for our Stone Age offense. I think we attempted 3 threes in the entire 2nd half of the Gonzaga game while being down 20 points. In what world is Woodson living in? He is incapable of making any changes. He only knows how to play 1 style and it’s brutal.

It’s going to get ugly for Woodson in Assembly Hall. People paid millions of dollars for this product? Just horrendous.
