I don’t think May says “no.” But if he does, I’m Beard and Drew. Yes, the university would need to do its due diligence on Beard, but let them do it. He’s a coach that would win here. Sadly, a Buzz or Cronin hire and we could be back here in 3-5 years

It doesn’t need to get to Cronin or Buzz. Don’t go from option A/B to F.

I'm of the opinion that Dusty will take the job so I don't think it will get past Dusty...but if for some reason it does, pending background check, I'm on the Beard train. You cannot go from Option A/B to option F. Beard will win at Indiana.

One thing that I've learned when reading this thread. Outside of Brad Stevens, whomever we hire there is going to be someone upset. We cover the whole spectrum, from coaches being arrested to being too religious, and too young to too old.

And yet multiple players till got in trouble, including running over each other.

After last night…Bill Self looks like he might have 1 foot out the door. Change of scenery anyone? And yes, I would absolutely take Self.

Listen…I get why people don’t like Beard, I’m simply saying that regardless, there are plenty of people here that would support him. Refer back to the poll taken on this site…and Woodson was atrocious, but I also don’t think he’s as good of a coach.

You don’t like him. You’ve made that very clear and it’s reasonable why you don’t…but there are plenty of people that would support him. There’s no reason to continue to comment and throw shade on everyone who throws their support to Beard. Do I think he has high chance of becoming the next coach? No. I think it’s Dusty, but there’s a reason why Beard is thrown in the conversation…past sins aside…he’s a Knight guy that can coach.
