  1. Have any of those you've fired been offered another position not under your supervision immediately after you fired them by your superior? I think that is a validation that the firing was more personal than professional.
  2. I think Dolson knows where things stand internally, he is just been neutered when it comes to being able to do anything about it.
  3. No surer way to get fired than asking CMW to get off the couch and do his job.
  4. CMW should hire you, just so he could fire you for your insolence.
  5. If he did something illegal or in violation of the NCAA, I highly doubt SD would have offered him a position in the athletic department. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's most likely a lazy, petty, vindictive, blames others, quits on his team duck.
  6. Well he always said he was steering this team towards that huge hump in the distance, so it's not like you weren't warned.
  7. Did not see the game but 4-19 vs Tenn and 6-25 against traffic cones from 3 is troubling. Sure it could be early season rust, but until proven otherwise this coaching staff is 3pt shooting kryptonite.
  8. Well when you have to spend all your own time searching under chairs, in your locker, under the scores table for your shots it leaves little time to hone your craft.
  9. I mean if he can do all that, all from the barcalounger with a fat stogie in his mouth, a whiskey in one hand and calling for a tee time with the other, I'm all in.
  10. So which is it struggling out of the gate or freshman wall? or do you choose whichever fits your nara... Looking forward to your new book: Encyclopedia Browns Case of the Player Selective Vanishing Stats
  11. So, if we forget MM first half of last season, Rice's second half of last season, and Carlyle on ball shooting % and this staffs history of bad 3 pt shooting... LOL, for one that claims others are writing a narrative, you sure are going Tom Clancy on these stats.
  12. Not even 2 fold, but as you said, narratives.
  13. Good God, I would hope one of the richest NIL pools in NCAA MBB, at a historic program, with great facilities could buy you an above average roster. MW sure as hell isn't going to put in the work to recruit that talent. That said, what about this coach staff instills confidence that they can, you know...coach? Do you not expect another season of hockey line changes, MW pissing and moaning to refs every time out, and eventual blank stares of indifference.
  14. IU was 271st in 3 pt %, below 200 2 of the last three seasons. But yeah that one guy, if you ignore the first half of the season...narratives indeed.
  15. I think the tint on your Crimson colored glasses may be a bit thick. Carlyle and Mgbako are borderline top 50 NBA draft prospects, maybe top 35-40 if you take out foreign players and no one else cracks top 100. It's a better roster, it should be for all the millions spent, but a lot is based on a projected large improvement in shooting assisted by a coaching staff with a history of not being able to improve shooting. What could go wrong?
  16. So, reading even pro MW folks, it seems the overwhelming majority see this as likely a decent to good season, allowing MW to bow out gracefully as a program rebuilder. Glad that we sacrificed 5 Star recruits that wanted to play at IU, a sh!t load of NIL that any coach could have used successfully, and a year of everyone's lives, so Woodrow could have good feels. Let's hope his players can find their own threes and he decides to not quit on his players again this season. If not, he may need a few more years to feel good enough about himself to "retire."
  17. Nice. Wonder if they go as each other for Halloween. Im going as Mike Woodson coaching the end of the B1G tourney Nebraska game:
  18. Well with 18 Big Ten teams not quite rock bottom...at least better than Ben Johnson (the Canadian sprinter or Lions OC?) and Dirk Diggler
  19. So better than Rutgers and Archie Miller is the benchmark? I'm speechless.
  20. SO you are saying Woodrow is pantsed in recruiting by a historically bottom feeder program with an "arena" that would fall somewhere in the middle of the top 10 Indiana high school gyms, that shares practice facilities with WBB, gymnastics, and wrestling. Resource disparity indeed. Wow that's embarrarssing. Are those stands full, hard to see all the way up to row 26 with the bank of 30 60 watt bulbs concentrated on the floor.
  21. Pikiell took a horrid program that averaged 23 loses a season the 3 yrs prior to his arrival and has had them in the top 25 in 3 of his 8 seasons the first time since 1979 and 3 of th 7 times in the 111years of the program and made the tourney twice, first times in over 30 yrs. Pikiell has easily out coached and out performed MW. Not saying I would want him at IU, but what each has done for their program and who has done more isn't even debatable.
  22. If you are Min, NW, or Neb these are all decent three year spans. Is one of these are the coach of the most basketball rich, traditionally and resource wise, in the Big 10? Well then all three would be @$$.
  23. Don't shoot the messenger. https://x.com/CBKReport/status/1779633485621113149
  24. Not even top 10 in the conference, maybe not top 15.
