Woody needs to tell MSU the game is played inside out. The are hitting all these 3's but they are doing it wrong. -

Mike Woodson to return as coach next season

I kinda want it to burn to the ground next season. Let the nimrods reap what they sow. Be embarrassed about their lack of real concern for the program and the alumni. Watch Purdue beat us by 30min AH, be bottom 4 in the B10. But hey, at least the old man got his fourth year of inside out basketball. -

I have been truthfully checked out on IU basketball for years, I get reeled back in occasionally but realize this program and administration has not the wherewithal to compete like it once did. Thankful I will always have the 1987 Championship as a freshman as a memory. -

IU about to field a 2024 team that will make the 2008-09 team look good. -

I mean they are correct. All you goofs calling him lazy are so misinformed. He is not at all lazy about his cigar game, his whiskey game, his golf game. As they said different priorities. Basketball and recruiting just happen to fall just below mowing the lawn and just above expressing his dogs anal glands. -

Agreed his mature, less below average than Cupps, borderline sexual assualt PG play would have us firmly on the bubble of teams not on the bubble. -

Hopefully "we" have. Don't self report just deny, deny, and obstruct until the NCAA gives up. -
I just jumped in on this last page but wow, how can anyone not see Woodson is not an acceptable coach for an IU level program? Recognizing he will never be better than average isn't saying one knows more than him, just that he doesn't know enough or care enough to put in the work to be an elite coach, you know what we all want at IU.

Wait, IU has guards? I thought by the shooting those were just a bunch of short centers. -
I've got first hand knowledge that they are actually connected to a multiple players in the draft process, and CMW has met with them personally. TJD ans JHS

Kinda strange having a guy that has committed to play at Xavier next season still representing IU. Nice to see him still giving back to the community until he official leaves. -

Way too many speculative excuses for Archie Miller being tossed around. Kinda simple: Archie Miller: Hey (insert top 50 recruits name here), welcome to IU, I am sure you have seen Assembly Hall and our great facilities, what do you think? Recruit: Yeah coach I am blown away , this place is awesome! I have a few questions. AM: Sure, shoot away. Recruit: Funny you say that. I hope to play NBA basketball and understand it is a shooters game, but your team ranked 212th in FG%, 241st in three point shooting, and 298th from the line. AM: True, those areas are not our strong suit, but basketball is also about defense. Recruit: Oh yeah, that is another thing, how is playing a sagging pack line defense going to prepare me for the NBA? AM: It's a team defense, but it's success will get you noticed. Recruit: But you ranked 143rd in FG% against and 158th against the 3. Also you pace of play was 278th. I could understand the low rankings if your teams were competitive, but I am struggling to see how bad offense, bad defense, and and archaic design can enhance my skills. AM: Uh...well...Did you happen to see those banners? -

So that must be the shenanigans Vernon was talking about. MM's mom slid into CMW's DMs and propositioned him about her son. -

If Cupp is able to handle good minutes at the point, do we know that CMW won't shift TG's role to more of a volume spot up/ off scree 3 shooter? He shot 48%/46% last season. He didn't have huge volume, but with X going down he was tasked with much more ball handling duties than would be ideal for him. With the 3 headed monster that they will have down low, and X manning the point, Trey should see a lot more space without the ball. -

Well that and in their last college season, Jimmy Butler averaged 15.7 pts, 6.1 reb, and 2.3 assts at age 22 while Miller Kopp averaged 8.1 pts, 2.5 reb, and 1.2 assts at age 24. But hey hard work!!!!
