The fact that Lander liked this tweet is so weirdly funny to me. These kids seem so happy to get any coaching and skill development...
-
I sure hope we’d be better than that

Me eyeing your Lewis post in the AC thread like :D

Geronimo staying!!

I blocked him and have never felt better. :)

Hope it means something but he’s retweeted all the decision posts, including Al’s leaving. Think he’s just a good friend and teammate.

Taking top assistants from other B1G programs and getting our best alums back into the fold just feels right for Indiana. -

Dane eyeing the Hubert hire at UNC and CMW’s age and fitting himself right into that possible coach-in-waiting role. -
Mike Woodson and His Coaching Staff

Feels like a very deliberate wait in rounding out the coaching staff. Definitely could be because Lewis is still coaching. -
I feel like the transfer portal is going to eventually work out to be very good for the best programs. Yeah maybe they lose some players who aren’t getting as many minutes but you can find replacements much easier. And it definitely helps programs fill unexpected vacancies when players go pro or you otherwise don’t fill a need with a difference-maker in recruiting. Or even if a player doesn’t develop enough and you have a hole. I also think that after an initial rush, fewer players will transfer as the years go by.

(2018) PG Darius Garland to Vandy
ramadden13 replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
This leads me to think that no one really knows and we can just wait until Darius reveals his choice. If Meyer isn't hearing, that probably means the schools aren't sure. Both think they've got a shot. -

I'm really surprised Archie managed to get in on the Ben Simmons recruitment. -

https://twitter.com/peegs/status/928368680374816768 Peegs says on Twitter he doesn't think Garland-Shittu are a package deal, adding that it can't hurt Vandy to be perceived leader for Shittu though. -

Right? Like, it doesn't matter if it's true. Most of the "they're dirty" comments from fanbases come from jealousy and anger.* *Except accusations about pUKe. Those are legit, logical, and I won't hear a word saying otherwise. -

UCLA wouldn't cancel the visit even if they thought they had no shot. Having 5-star prospects on campus is good for the brand, regardless of whether they commit. Having lots of 5-stars around gives it an air of elitism. -

(2018) SF - Jerome Hunter Transfers To Xavier
ramadden13 replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
http://www.insidethehall.com/2017/07/17/q-a-ohio-nova-director-andreas-james-discusses-jerome-hunter-commitment/ Q&A with the director of Jerome's AAU club. Pretty interesting. Most interesting to me is this quote: Archie has talked about how you don't just recruit the player, you recruit their family/friends/etc. Seems like it worked well here. -

The fact that you were arguing a strawman is not an opinion. It's a fact (as can be seen because you can't/won't point me to the language where he argued as such). My opinion (and the conventional wisdom) is that those argumentation techniques are unfair. Not everything can be dodged with the "that's your opinion." I'm not even beating the Lemonis drum, I'm beating the proper argumentation drum. But whatever, we seem to be going nowhere. Feel free to get a last word in, and then we can call it a day. -

Arguing in favor of him is not the same as arguing that he hadn't made it worse than it was under Smith. The second is not necessarily part of the first. Obviously the guy would have a stronger argument if it hadn't gotten worse, but please point me to where he argued that. Otherwise your statement ("He has unquestionable made it worse. I'm baffled that anyone would even attempt at arguing that.") is just building a strawman. -

No one was arguing that. it was a strawman argument put up by the person you quoted. C'mon guys, at least argue fairly... -
