  1. Seems very late in the game to just be "getting a great start". Unfortunately we still have a team that if one starter goes down we fall off big time.
  2. I don't see the point of going across the globe to get players that most likely will not crack the rotation.
  3. Yes, hopefully we can get a lot going in transition and make Crooks huff and puff.
  4. Big Z going to have to elevate her game for this one. She can do it!
  5. Then I think it's us... Sieg>Cig
  6. ND looks a lot like IU at this point.
  7. I know it shouldn’t be, but it might be innately hard to get up for teams that they also haven’t heard of who are actually not a bad team.
  8. I disagree..he will be a good one as time goes on. Lots of tools in his bag.
  9. Lindenwood will be a Cinderella team come March.
  10. So, why are we recruiting girls that are stiff and slow?
  11. I thought we looked better than we have in a long while last night.
  12. Sounds like Fisher is going to be OK. Just gonna be chilling on the sidelines getting some rest.
  13. Nice day for 2nd string to get some experience..
  14. Which is amazing when you think about it now!
  15. True, and I always wondered why we didn't become one and always wondered if it was because of Knight being the way he was and less blue chip players wanting to play for him etc.., and maybe we were squeeky clean and not paying players like other programs and making kids go to class.. but yes, we are a historical program with many championships no matter what!
  16. I have never understood the "blue blood" thing. As far back as I can remember (mid 80's) did we ever get blue chip players year in and year out, but rather one here and there? The 87 Championship team were usually underdogs in the tournament and had several Juco players on it which showed off Knights coaching expertise. When have we ever operated like a blue blood program?
  17. Night and day difference than were used to
  18. This is a team of high IQ basketball players from what I’m seeing. Played tough defense tonight and seem to understand the game well. Quick instincts and great energy. Small sample but Alexis was way better than I imagined at this point. Very impressed with Wilkerson, Connerway, Bailey, Sisley and Tucker. This looks like a tough rugged basketball team that will be bringing their lunch pail day in and day out. You can tell they have something to prove.
