Loved the fight and the drive from these ladies! We had SC very nervous ….. I love that. I really want to find and listen to the live post game from the coaches and players.

There’s absolutely NOTHING more valuable than when a team smiles, laughs and genuinely loves being around each other, on and off the court or field.

Also agree,….. I almost wish he was 10-20 years younger at this point, had descent college coaching experience under his belt prior to IU, then this could/might or maybe be a well written story. JMO It’s no secret that he has owed most everything to Coach Knight and what he did for him as a player and a man. Unfortunately his approach is a bit outdated and crass. I have no doubt that Coach Woodson wants the world for IU Basketball and he knows he’s late to the college game. IMO, He’s most likely living/practicing the old adage, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”, when it comes to constructing a roster with the NIL. He may be thinking he’s a little too old and doesn’t have the energy to get out on the rigorous recruiting trail, like seasoned NCAA coaches do. I know this screams, “then why are you gambling with time and IU’s money?” Finally, I honestly think he wants this one last shot to bring prominence and national notoriety to IU before he retires. Like it or not, If it wasn’t for NIL, Coach Woodson would most likely already be fired. JMHO

……so Dolson should have a meeting with the players and get a feel where they are all at. I know the players don’t make the coaching decisions, per se, but their input is pretty important. Why put spend money and fill up the car if nobody wants or needs a ride?

Back in the day when Coach Knight was (king/in his prime), all the fans hung around because they couldn't wait to hear what he would say about the team and the players.....They were always very entertaining, as many of us old timers remember. Some of his quotes on senior night have been well documented.....because it was Coach Knight. Coach Woodson needs to walk the walk way better, before he can "talk the talk" during senior night.

.....tell me where Leal actually attacks IU fans from what he said..... I just don't see it. If you think it's because he says "there's a reason you guys aren't coaches, so relax or .....you guys need to chill!" He is just addressing the fans to just calm down and obviously relax/chill. The part about, ...."there's a reason you guys aren't coaches", who cares! If some of you all think that was too strong or feel like being attacked, then IMO your way too sensitive. Good grief, maybe he said a little more then he anticipated, I don't know, ....but give him a little grace for sticking with this program as long as he has, getting limited playing time AND loosing a very close friend. Leal, a Bloomington South graduate, said he wanted to "make something very clear." "Adversity is part of sports," Leal said. "For those of you who are so quick to give up and call for quits and everything, there's a reason that you guys aren't coaches. So you relax. There's no other coach in the country that I would trust with anything in my life than coach Woodson. There's no other university that I would like to represent. We're going to run it back, but you guys got to chill."
