  1. At this rate, this looks to be the of the most controversial coaching hire/firing situations in IU history. What a black eye..
  2. I take this as,.... "Ok, Quinn,.....this is how you're going to play this?" "Well, I have a job to do here at IU and I think a change is warranted! If you want to dance, let's dance! I'm not going to let this go without one hell of a fight!" GO IU!
  3. .....welp, if there's is any validity to players NOT wanting to return to IU and play for Woodson next year, we may see two different situations. #1. The team plays better than they have played all year and wins these next 2 plus a few in the BTT...(because players plan to leave and want their stock to go up for potential other schools) If this does happen, Coach Woodson would most likely be back and a few current player may decide to stick around. #2. The team finally just flames out....(the surge was fools gold and players quickly hit the portal in frustration at season's end.) JMO, Go IU!
  4. ....Wow, that is absolutely insane. Goodbye landing future Indiana Mr. Basketballs. This is totally NBA driven....
  5. Besides wanting to make sure his friend gets a chance to make a positive change IU desperately needs, he could seriously be waiting for his term to end in '25, so he doesn't have to fire him.....jmo
  6. I loved Quinn as an IU player and NBA. He has always been a constant supporter of IU. However, this is where I draw the line. As Chairman and member of the Trustees, you are there to listen and support what is needed. I'm going to look at this from the experience I have, currently being a church trustee. I know it's not anywhere near the same, but it is similar it the fact that you need votes to pass unanimously for approvals. This past year I was the Chairman of Trustees at our local church and is the largest church in our city. My vote was just as important as my fellow trustees, however, the majority vote always prevails. We never disagreed on any votes, but always voted according what was best for the church and what the peopled needed. I couldn't imagine "holding hostage" a vote just for my selfish reasoning. If a new hire is something that the IU President is supportive of, will/would she step in? JMO GO IU!
  7. .....so now it seems like your saying it's a heavy lean for Woodson to be back for a 4th year? That is terrible news to start out this morning.
  8. ....share your copy with us. Maybe we can sign the bottom like the Declaration of Independence...lol
  9. This is a big red flag, moving forward for Dolson. It should help his decision.
  10. ….I definitely do, but they have to be Nathan’s! Lol I put mayonnaise on them with Vlasic Bread and Butter Sweet Pickle slices on top.
  11. Just so I'm not confused....Dusty May is not an Akron boy. He graduated HS from Eastern Greene in Bloomfield IN and then graduated from IU. He has zero ties to any college coaching stints anywhere in the state of Ohio. I don't see the connection, unless Lebron just see the potential head coaching abilities of May at Ohio St.
  12. ....my old IU roommate and Dusty's former AAU coach wants him to IU badly...lol My old roommate graduated from Linton, IN ('83) and Dusty graduated in '95 from Eastern Green in Bloomfield IN. He does try to stay in touch with him, but hasn't spoken to him for a few months. Obvious reasons....
  13. .....and if true, for BP to push that on IU too would be disaster for him, if he IU is truly a dream destination for him.
  14. ....that is specifically why I wrote my last post....
  15. .....We can all agree that "something" definitely is going on behind the scenes. That "something", is what everyone is trying to assume, figure out or guess. You better believe coaches and players know or assume "something" as well. It just depends what the "something" is. If the plan IS to 100%, not retain Coach Woodson after this year, Dolson needs to 100% make sure he has his plan A and plan B locked in. I just don't want to waste valuable time being strung along and plan A falls through and plan B is too late and already hired. We are stuck with in the current situation and/or trying to hire a plan C or D. We been through this before. It can't happen again. JMO
  16. What would stop all of this once and for all is if Dolson had a press conference or posted something saying he supports Woodson and plans on retaining him. JMO
  17. That's the part that worries me. I would hope, that as wins do look good, ultimately, a new vision and approach is what Dolson wants. This is what I see in Dolson's hiring of Cignetti. JMO
