  1. Freakin’ Woods has made every one of those so far
  2. Just because Woods looks like he’s 45 doesn’t mean he should be able to push off before a shot...
  3. If we end up playing Ohio State on Thursday, is Caleb Wesson going to magically come back from suspension?
  4. True that...i was actually going to edit my post and add that at the end, ha
  5. At this point I'm really wondering if the fact that his announcement being in Fort Wayne open to the public is a really good sign, or he and his family aren't worried about any backlash they may get if he chooses to go elsewhere. I'm aware that it's his choice and he shouldn't care about backlash or getting people's hopes up if he's happy, but i just can't see him letting his buddies down and pass up the opportunity to play with them. I could see it being in Fort Wayne (other than family being there) as a spot to make people think it'll definitely be IU and ends up choosing elsewhere, but then i also could see his late visit to Kentucky making people think he's going there and then he chooses IU. I have Kentucky and MSU fans at work who didn't even know about his announcement date, and when i told them about it and that it was being held in Fort Wayne to the public, they all said "you guys got him, there's no way he's not choosing IU if it's in Fort Wayne open to the public" Heck, with the Fort only being about 30-35 minutes south of me i'd probably go if i didn't have to work. I personally think IU will end up getting him, but it's tough because he and his family have done a pretty good job at being strategic with their plans and keeping things close to the vest.
  6. Im gonna go total optimistic and say that Peegs changed his pick to UK to help the family keep the suspense and shock the world when Keion chooses IU! (I’ve learned how to type on my phone while dreaming ).....but seriously, hopefully it’s just a guess on his part at this point and IU is still somehow in this. It’s crazy how Calipari can swoop in like this and make such an impression. Keion can go to the NBA playing for IU as well, and his friends are there. I’d like to think that in the back of Keion’s mind, he would regret letting his friends down and missing out on having fun with them. He has always said how important and a privilege it’d be to represent his home state across his chest...hopefully that doesn’t end up being all talk. More than happy to have TJD and AF onboard and already representing IU very well!!
  7. Yes, I’m sure TJD knows. His tweets are helping him out with the suspense before he announces.
  8. Yeah I don’t think he has relationships with MSU/KU players like he does with the IU commits. Plus I don’t see their tweets as thinking he is slipping away from them. I see it as they are playing along with the suspense he wants, and they think throwing subtle tweets out will make people think me must still be wide open and undecided, when really, he’s not.
  9. Yeah, Trayce knows where’s he’s going. His tweets are just helping his buddy keep the suspense so he can have his day....just like the timing of his Kentucky visit. Sure as heck got a lot of people to think he’s going to Kentucky and keep the suspense up making them think they have no idea. I’m not saying it’s a fact he’s 100% IU, but all of this could just be devised tactics to make people keep guessing when really he’s known he has wanted IU for quite some time. Kids these days want their spotlight and like providing the suspense.
  10. it is indeed pretty cool that he announces a decision date the day after we sweep MSU...
  11. Well hopefully going to IU is still a decision he see's as done for himself and not the state. Selfish could just mean even though if he has some family members leaning the other way, he needs to decide for himself.
  12. YES Romeo!!! Green probably mad though...
  13. Take Green out for our offensive possession after the 3 free throws he gave them!!
  14. Sad thing is, Green is probably laughing on the inside.....leave it to him to screw that up.
  15. How did that manage to go in!??!
  16. Now if we could just make shots to get ahead of them not making free throws...
  17. I can’t decide if I wanna be completely upset, angry, frustrated or just shrug my shoulders and know this just isn’t a very good team, realize it is what it is at this point, and know that we are most likely going to see a heck of a change in our roster next year. I certainly appreciate the effort they are giving, but I think I’ve come to the point, even before this game, that the losses aren’t gonna ruin my day like that have in the past. With all that has gone on here lately with the team, it’s just become expected unfortunately. I’m not giving up on their efforts moving forward and will definitely keep watching like it’s my religion, but here’s to hoping next year’s team breathes new life and serves a purpose greater than themselves, which I can for sure see happening.
  18. ...Smith will think if he would have been in the game the second half we would have won...
  19. All I can do at this point is laugh, honestly...I mean holy sh**
  20. Holy crap people go off from 3 against us..
  21. Why the step back 3’s to try to win it? I saw it coming
  22. Obviously people think Crean had it way worse when he took the IU job when Archie did based off talent level...Archie had more talent than Crean had, yada yada, which is true. Well at least Crean had players that wanted to be there and played hard for their coach. Even though Crean had less talent, what Archie seems to be going through with his hands being tied with who he could and couldn’t have on the team and dealing with their attitudes and lack of effort can be just as bad. To think if Archie was able to have things how he wanted it when he got here by getting rid of a handful of guys he didn’t see fit right off the bat, things would obviously be way different than they are now and we most likely wouldn’t be dealing with any of the lack of effort levels and attitudes we are now. Heck I feel just as bad for Archie than I did for Crean when he first took over the program.....and then to realize Crean and Glass may have f’ed up the APR so bad that Archie had to deal with having his hands tied and keep players around that probably didn’t want to be there and since they had to stay, affecting their attitudes towards the new coach, makes me feel MORE sorry for Archie. This roster management really is probably a nightmare scenario for Archie knowing he’s got a bunch of kids he calls quiet and lack leadership, etc. These first couple years have been a do what you can with what you’ve got type of thing, and this year really endes up being bad because the negative attitudes really came out into the open. Props to Archie for keeping calm and dealing with it like a professional until the end of the season.
  23. If the cancers from this team are gone next year and they were ones who treated Romeo like crap...any chance he stays next year to play with TJD, Armaan, and Keion (if he comes) and have a more enjoyable, successful experience?
