Not really, Woody has a lot of good friends that would love a highly paid job for a year. It's not like he makes his assistants work the recruiting trail that hard. -

It mainly arrogance and lack of caring about the outside noise. Woodson is comfortable in who he is which is a great trait to have, but he is completely oblivious to what is being said on social media and these boards. -

I know Fred was also interested in Chris Holtmann at the time. No one really thought Archie was going to be a bad hire, but the Donovan possibility was real and had everyone excited. -

Gaming, UK basketball, and lots of fast food/snack reviews. One of them is from last week him trying out Oreo Cakesters and the title of the video is "These Make Me Tingle Inside" -

Absolutely agree, just saying I disagree with the former player. Just hire the best coach period if Woody does leave. -

So would this former player be against hiring Bruce Pearl or Josh Schertz since both are Jewish? -

Hearing nothing has changed from what I posted last Thursday. I'm still hoping Woody can actually see the writing on the wall and can step down in a couple weeks instead of his plans of a year or two from now. In the meantime he has a round of golf to play in between getting ready for Minnesota on Wednesday. -

I haven't read through all this thread recently so I'm not sure where the rumors are coming from. I'm being told there could be a small shakeup with the coaching staff, but Woodson isn't going anywhere after this season unless he decides to step down which would be a surprise. His plan was always 4-5 years and then retirement and his buyout makes it unlikely he is removed as coach after this season. Maybe he sees the writing on the wall and decides to step down early but he is pretty oblivious to just how much people want him out at this time. -

His main job with the Bears is to get the new stadium built. He did the same thing with the Vikings and that place is supposed to be incredible. -
Caleb Love - UNC Transfer to Arizona

He reminds me a lot of Devonte Green but more athletic. Can take some outrageous shots at times but has the ability to get hot in games and knock those shots down. -

Woodson has been here two years and already brought in five players that were considered 5 star recruits from one recruiting ranking or another (MM, JHS, Reneau, Ware, and Banks). Also he quickly convinced TJD to return when Trayce already had one foot out the door. Clearly Woody resonates with these top young players and their families that they want to play for him. I think 2024 and 2025 are going to see some monster classes for IU. -
Who fills the last scholarship?

Maybe CJ Gunn can take a big frosh to soph jump like some guys do. It’s a shame Bates never panned out like we all hoped. Would have been perfect in this lineup but he just couldn’t get it done here. -

I don't buy that Mgbako is in Lawrence right now but Hunter Dickinson just did this last week. He met with Self in person to tell him he was coming to KU. -

I think Woodson makes it really easy for parents to trust him and feel comfortable having their sons play for. As successful of a career he has had, he comes off as a down to earth guy, will work their kids hard, and have their backs. -
You just name a bunch of players that all had very different games than each other. Only thing they have in common are they are white.
