Yup I believe against either Oregon or Illinois. I guess there’s a chance it’s against UCLA? -

I'd take either. McDermott is a hell of a coach and what Collins has done at NW with such limited resources compared to other Big Ten teams is remarkable. Both play a fun style of ball and I never watch a Creighton or Northwestern game and wonder to myself why the coach is making the decisions he does. -

At the end of the game against Washington the other night during handshakes I thought to myself "What are the odds that Woodson even knows that the other coaches name is Danny Sprinkle" -

Yes it is a big part of the culture at Baylor but there's nothing wrong with it Baylor is a private Christian school. He would have to tone it down at a public school like IU. I believe a pastor speaks to the team before most games much like Sister Jean does at Loyola -

Religion shouldn't matter at all when it comes to coaching. 3 of the teams in this week's top 5 have Jewish head coaches. -

Does he really average 30 minutes per game? The stats seem right but I can't imagine him playing that much. Would think its closer to 20 mpg. -

And the one year he had an all-time great Hoosier and a first round pick at point guard, he couldn't get out of the first weekend of the tournament. -

I've heard Pope wants to get the home/home matchups going again too for after the 2028 game at Assembly Hall so if Pope is still at Kentucky in a few years, expect 2029 to be at Rupp and then will go back and forth like it used to. -

I spoke to a player that played for Crean a couple years after he graduated at a party. The ex-player was very intoxicated at the time and you would not believe some of the stories he told me and my buddies about Crean. He wasn't the perfectly behaved person and coach he tries to make himself out to be. -

Mike Brey is a name I was told has come up but after last week I'm not believing anything I'm told anymore. If he were a little younger I wouldn't hate it but mid 60s and it had been awhile since he had success at ND before he "retired" -

Buckner is on board with Stevens. As bad as he hurt the program pushing Woodson on it, he wants IU to win and know BS is an excellent coach. -

Been a crazy day at work so haven't had a chance to get on here but you guys are crazy with how many pages this has jumped Got a little update that Dolson is still fully focused on Stevens but he wants an answer within the next couple weeks. That way he can be ready once the season ends for other current coaches to speak with them directly. I did see how people were curious why college reporters aren't talking about BS to IU more. A lot of what is posted on message boards is hearsay and no reporter is going to risk their reputation based on hearsay like a poster on a message board will. Also when BS does get announced, don't expect it to come for a college bball reporter. Expect it to be from an IU statement unless Shams gets confirmation first (which knowing him will probably happen). I am just happy I can actually root for the team the rest of the season now that it's confirmed there is no way Woodson is back next year -

Also hearing this has serious legs to it... Still hesitant because last time I was told the same thing from someone in the know it all fell through and QB swooped in and forced Woodson upon us. Good thing is that I was told Dolson is more prepared this time to pursue other candidates in case BS doesn't happen. -

Ya Oats isn't leaving unless you pay the buyout and offer him $10 million or more per year. Even then Alabama probably restructures his contract to match. -
