    I like McCollum a lot too but The Valley was also way worse this year than it has been. Will be interesting to see how McCollum does if he takes the Iowa job, got a feeling he will do quite well.

    I'm a little surprised he hasn't yet. I know things went really poorly at Georgia but he's a big name that has had success. Would think at least a good mid-major would be excited to hire him. I actually think he does a good job during studio coverage for ESPN.

    I think he realized Coach K wasn't going to retire anytime soon and he didn't want to wait any longer for a head coaching gig so he took the NW job.

    Wasn't it pretty well known that Holloway was talking to Seton Hall about their opening while in the middle of the St. Peter's run a couple years ago? It happens all the time, at least through backchanneling.
